I was going to put a key, but you probably know how this works by now, so I'm gonna keep my book looking clean and just start the damn story. Enjoy :3

Y/N -

"Fuck, shit, fuck fuck shit." The ceiling of my house was starting to collapse. It's not actually a house, but it's my home. The dirt and stone that I compacted together at the top of the cave was starting to crumble. I started grabbing more dirt off of the ground to try and secure the cracks. It wasn't working. "Well, I guess this is goodbye." I said, grabbing my few belongings and taking them out of the cave. As soon as I got out of it, the entire top of the cave collapsed, crushing everything that was left underneath it. "Well that's just fucking dandy. Now where do I sleep?" I looked around the dark forest. Just trees, trees, oh wait, more trees! "I guess I'm being a squirrel for tonight." I walked over to a tree and started climbing. I sat down on a sturdy branch and leaned back against the trunk. I couldn't get comfortable that entire night. I probably got about 15 minutes worth of sleep.

Once dawn hit, I jumped out of the tree. I grabbed my food and bo staff and started walking. Now what? I have nowhere to go. No village is going to take me in, and I don't have anything to make a camp of some sort.

I kept walking for a bit, then I started getting hungry. I opened my food satchel and there was only a piece of bread. Then I saw a rabbit hopping nearby. I took my bo staff and hit it right on the head, just to give it a fast, painless demise. I picked up the rabbit corpse and started looking for wood so I could start a fire to cook it with. I saw a log on the ground and went over to it. Then I found something that definitely didn't happen by nature. There was a tent with a bed under it, and a campfire.  Jackpot. I lit the fire with my flint and steel and got a small stick to put the rabbit on. I slowly roasted the animal, then when it was perfectly cooked, I began eating. The rabbit tasted good, but the next thing that happened ruined it.

I just finished my guarding shift at Phoenix Drop and I was going back to my camp to sleep. Then I saw someone sitting near my campfire. They had a f/c cloak on and were eating something. I didn't see a weapon on them, so I decided to approach them. I put my sword to their back and poked them lightly. They didn't move a muscle. Then I moved my sword to their neck. Still, no movement. "Who are you?" I asked. Nothing. Finally, I took the food out of their hands. The cloaked person froze.

"Give it back." They said.

"You never answered my question."

"Because it doesn't matter. Now, give. It. Back." I ignored them and threw the food on the ground. Then they started laughing. "Heh, you shouldn't have done that." Then they just sat there.

"What do you me-" The next second, the person was holding some stick in their hand and putting it to my neck. I was shocked, I didn't know someone could move that fast. "What? Are you gonna kill me with some stick?"

"I probably won't kill you." They remarked. They shoved the end of the stick right into my chest, pushing me back a bit. I drew my sword. "Are you gonna kill me with that sword?" They asked. Saying nothing, I swung at their head. They dodged it and knocked the sword out of my hands. "Heh, you thought."

"What the hell are you?!" I asked, amazed by their speed and strength. They had a feminine voice, but if they were a girl, they would be the strongest one I have ever met.

"What do you think?"

"A monster."

"Eh, close enough." They said, picking up the dead rabbit. "Wow, thanks for ruining my dinner. Now you owe me food."

"I don't owe you shit."

"Wowee! We have a tough guy over here!"

"Why are you in my camp?"

"You had a campfire setup. I needed to cook my dinner. Too bad someone had to throw it in the dirt. Anyways, I was going to leave in the morning. Probably." They sat back down, and started dusting off their stick. "By the way, it's not a stick. It's a bo staff, dumbass." While they were distracted, I went over to grab my sword. They didn't seem to notice, or if they did, they didn't seem to care.

I put my sword to their neck again. "Now who the hell are you?"

"Ya' know, asking for names isn't going to get you anywhere." I kept my ground. "Ugh, I'm y/n. Happy?" Then I thought to myself. Y/n.... there's no way. I tackled them to the ground. "Get off of me."

"No. You're the Iron Heart, aren't you?"

"No shit sherlock. Now get the fuck off of me." I kept her pinned to the ground. I have to tell Aphmau.

"You're coming with me."

"Ha, funny." I put my sword to her neck and took a rope I used to make my tent and tied y/n's arms up. "Oh, are you arresting me now?"

"We'll see." I pulled her up and threw her over my shoulder. "Oh god you're heavy."

"Fuck off." Y/n replied. I started walking towards Phoenix Drop. "WAIT! Get my staff."

"No."

"You better, or I'll escape."

"Ha, very funny." Then she kicked me in the gut and jumped off of me. She walked over to her staff on the ground and picked it up with her tied together hands.

"Let's go." She said.

"What?"

"Aren't you going to turn me in?"

"Um, yeah." I said, grabbing her arm. She hit me in the bicep really hard.

"I can walk. Now don't touch me."

"Whatever, but give me the staff." She handed me the stick. As we were walking, she asked me something.

"Hey, you know my name, what's yours?"

"Aaron. Now keep walking."

"That name sounds stupid."

This is going to be a LONG walk.
