~905 Words~

Aaron -

I grabbed the knife and brought it back to the tree. "Zoey!" She turned around and saw what I had in my hand. "I found this random knife stuck in the wall at Aphmau's house. It might be from Zane." I placed the knife on the side table of the bed.

"Why would it be Zane?"

"I know he wants Aphmau dead."

"That doesn't explain who poisoned y/n." She looked at the poison chamber on y/n's neck. "WAIT!" She yelled. "Go grab my staff." I followed her directions and gave her the staff. She said some weird words and then the chamber started glowing. "Aha!"

"What's happening?"

"There was a little bit of excess poison on the inside of the chamber. I think I actually have the antidote for this one!" She squealed and ran over to a shelf with different herbs and materials on it. She grabbed a little leaf and put it in y/n's mouth. "1...2...3... oh no. Wait." She started reading one her books. "Ugh, I have to revive her."

"Do what now?! Is she dead?"

"Not exactly, her consciousness is still within her body, but as of right now she is physically dead. Now I have to revive her before she starts to decompose." She started looking around for random stuff. I sat next to y/n with my face in my hands. What is happening? Why do I care if she's dead? She's already killed loads of people. But why?

Zoey came in again with a strange yellow object. "This should do the trick." She sliced the object in half. "Give me that knife." I did, and then she cut a deep wound into y/n's arm.

"Zoey?!"

"Shh... I know what I'm doing." She held the object above the wound and squeezed it. Some weird juices started coming out of it and they landed into y/n's arm. Zoey grabbed her staff and started reciting another spell.

All of a sudden, y/n groaned. "What the fuck..." She mumbled. "Who are you?!" She said going to grab Zoey's neck. But when she lifted her arm, she noticed the wound and fell back in pain.

"Lay down, I need to stitch you up." Zoey went to go get a needle and thread.

"This fucking hurts." Y/n kept mumbling curses under her breathe.

Y/n -

I woke up in a random bed, with some random girl waving a staff in front of my face. "What the fuck..." I said. "Who are you?!" I tried to grab the woman, but there was this extremely painful wound in my forearm. Blood started to come out, and I fell back because of the agony.

"Lay down, I need to stitch you up." The woman got up and left. What? Why is there this cut in my arm?! I should be dead?! I felt the poison chamber on the side of my neck and noticed that it felt lighter. It was empty. I looked to my right and saw Aaron sitting there.

"What did you do?" I asked him.

"I saved your life. That's what I did. Now why was there a poison chamber on your neck?"

"I was supposed to die."

"That doesn't answer my question. Who put that thing there?"

"That's none of your business." He groaned and rolled his eyes.

"Why are you so difficult?"

"Why didn't you just let me die? It would be good riddance for you." I asked him. He stayed silent. "Ugh..." I sighed. The woman came back with her materials. Without warning, she stuck the needle into my arm. I squeaked in pain, but I tried not to think about how fucking painful that was.

"I'm Zoey by the way." The woman introduced herself, finally. "I revived you, so you're welcome." I stayed silent. "Well, this is a feisty one, now isn't she Aaron?" He nodded and I glared at him.

"Can you just let me go? I can stitch myself up." Zoey laughed and stuck the needle in my arm again.

"Nope. Okay, you're all fixed up, but I'd wait before-" I got out of the bed and stretched. "-getting up... okay, be careful. You're body isn't stable yet, it just came back to life."

"For Irene's sake, where's my staff." I rolled my eyes.

"Right here. But you don't get it yet." Aaron held the staff in his hand. I went to grab it but my arm was extremely sore.

"Fuck off. I need to go and I'm not leaving without my weapon."

"Then I guess your staying."

"Stop trying to be all playful and shit. It's not cute." He turned slightly red and kept the staff. "You know, if I didn't just get revived a minute ago, I would've beat the life out of you by now."

"Heh, alright. Now follow me." He threw me over his shoulder and I tried to get off of him, but my arm ached with every movement.

"Where are we going?"

"The guard station."

"You're gonna lock me up again?"

"Nope. I'm gonna get some answers out of you.
