"Hey Law-ya" Melissa said while walking to the boy she now known for two years. "Happy birthday Melissa" Law said while looking up from the book he was reading. "Thanks law-ya" Melissa said while sitting down next to Law. "So how old are you now" Law questioned while closing his book. "I should be fourteen" Melissa said while looking at Law. "One more thing here" Law said while handing Melissa a gift. "Aww~ Law-ya thank you" Melissa said while taking the gift. "Open it" Law said while waiting for her to open the gift. "Okay, okay just give me a second to open it" Melissa said while flipping the gift over to open it. Once she got it open Melissa looked at the jewelry case. Melissa looked over at Law who was waiting patiently for her to open the gift. Melissa opened it and what she saw brought tears to her eyes. Inside lay the yang half of yin and yang.

Melissa held it up, it caught some sunlight the necklace simmered. She looked at Law and what he was holding made her gasp. What he was hold was the yin half of yin and yang. "When we grow older we'll probably set out and we might not recognize each other so when we meet again then when these are a curtain distance form each other this will happen" Law said while taking both halfs and putting them six inches from one another they started to react and when Law let go of Melissa's half they stuck together. And when Law reached for Melissa's half they easily came undone. "Wow Law are you really sure you want to give this to me" Melissa questioned. Law chuckled "of course Melissa-ya I wouldn't have given it to you if I didn't want to" Law said. Melissa's jaw was left hanging open. "Melissa-ya what's-" thats when it hit him Law put the ya at the end of Melissa's name and she didn't. Maybe they were rubbing off of each other. "That's weird, but whatever can't change now, so Law you comin or you just gonna stand ther shell shocked" Melissa jokes. "But it sounds weird Melissa-ya" Law said while walking over to the girl. Melissa shrugged "besides I think it suits you, anyway come on the others are waiting for us" Melissa said while grabbing Law's hand and basically dragging him all the way to the party.
After the party
"Well that was fun and also tiring so I'm gonna go get a shower see ya in bed Law" Melissa said while walking off and giving a wave without looking back. Law chuckles and heads to bed "Law-kun" Shi said sleepily. "It's okay Shi-ya it's just me Law" Law saud while getting his clothes on and when he looked back the seven year old and saw he was fast asleep. Law smiled at this and crawled into bed. The last thing on his mind before going to sleep was,
"I wish I could stay longer Melissa-ya but I have to keeping moving forward I'm sorry"
