Forever Loved

Prologe

A twelve year old girl was running from a fruit seller because of stealing some apples. So she ran into an alleyway and hid until the woman was gone.

Two hours later

She came out and started to walk back to the orphanage. While she was walking around she accidently bumped into a boy around her age. "Sorry didn't see where I was going" the girl said. "It's okay" the boy said as he helped her up. "What's your name anyway mine's Melissa" the girl said. "I'm Law" the boy said. Melissa put out her hand with an apple "want one" Melissa asked. "As long you don't mind" Law replied. "No I don't, so here" Melissa said as she tossed Law the apple. "Thanks" Law replied as he bit into the apple. "You know an apple a day keeps the doctor away but, if the doctor's cute ditch the fruit" Melissa said as she bit into her apple. "Where did you learn that" Law asked. "Don't know heard it somewhere just don't know where but anyway, what are you doing out here at this time" Melissa asked as she points to the night sky. "Could ask you the same question" Law replied. "Walking home" Melissa replied back. "Just walking around" Law answered her question. "Well if you don't have a place to stay then follow me" Melissa said as she finished her apple along with Law. "Alright, as long the person you're living with doesn't mind" Law said/asked. "She honestly doesn't care" Melissa said in a matter of fact tone. "Oh well okay then lead the way" Law said as they started walking again. "You are a pretty smart girl for your age" Law said. "Could say the same to you" Melissa replied. "Toche" Law said with a smirk. Melissa smiled back. As they walk the rest of the way in a comfortable silence.

Twenty minutes later

"So here we are" Melissa said as she started to climb the stairs. "Doesn't this place you know" Law said trying not to be rude. "Know what" Melissa asked. "In need of a fix" Law said a bit shyly. "Yeah it's been like this sense I got here if it didn't change in the three years I've been living here then it's never gonna change" Melissa said as they reach the orphanage door. "Sorry" Law said. "What are you apologizing for" Melissa questions. "Well I thought it was a sensitive subject to you" Law answers. "Naw that's what everyone thinks at first but actually it's not, just that the caretaker's lazy" Melissa replys giggling. Law lets out a sigh of relief and chuckles. "Enough of standing around lets go in already " Melissa said. And she opens the door while Law follows her into a room with a bunch of beds and Melissa is tackled by three children. "You guys missed me that much" Melissa asked. They all yell "yes we missed you nee-Chan"! Melissa giggled and said "i missed you guys two now can I get up". And the three children got off of her. And a boy around the age of five asked "Nee-Chan who's he" while pointing to Law. "Oh that's Law-ya say hi to them" Melissa answers while nugging Law's arm. "Hi" Law said while waving a little. "Okay everyone you know what to do when someone new comes right" Melissa said. The boy who asked who Law was stepped up first "I'm Kenji but most just call me Ken and I'm five". Next a girl stepped next to him "I'm Yuki but everyone calls me Yu for short and I'm five too" she said while smiling. And lastly a little boy came up "I'm Kashi but you can call me Shi everyone does and I'm four". And Melissa stepped in front of them "you know my name already but I'll say my full name I'm Melissa Shimo and I'm twelve and like they said the adopted big sister of the three" Melissa said while smiling a caring smile. "I guess telling you my full name won't hurt I'm Trafalgar D. Water Law but just call me Law it's easier" Law said. And the bathroom door opens and out steps a polar bear. "Oh hey Bepo-ya how are ya" Melissa said. "Melissa I didn't know you were here when did you get back" the polar bear asked. "Just now actually" Melissa answered. "Who's he" the Bear asked while pointing to Law. "His names Law-ya, Law-ya this is Bepo-ya my best friend and the only one left of my family since I got here, Bepo-ya this is Law he's gonna spend the night with us" Melissa said to both boys. "Hi I'm Bepo like she said and in human years I'm four years old" Bepo said while holding out his paw. "I'm Law I hope I'm able to stay the night" Law said while shaking Bepo's paw. "Well if Melissa brought you here the she's fine with you staying for a while" Bepo said while letting go of Law's hand. "Okay guys it's time for bed" Melissa said. "Oh Law you don't have anything to change into" Melissa said while going to a dresser and look for something for Law. "It's okay I'm fine sleeping like this" Law said walking towards Melissa. "Nonsense it's fine" Melissa replied. Law was about to say something saying it's fine but Bepo put a paw on Law's shoulder "don't argue with her once she made up her mind there's no convincing her otherwise" Bepo said while letting go of Law shoulder. Law just nods his head. "Got it here try these" Melissa said while throwing Law some clothes. "Oh and the bathroom's right there" said Shi while pointing to the door behind Bepo. "Okay be right back" Law said while going to the bathroom and closing the door.

Five minutes later

Law comes out to see everyone in bed except Melissa and Bepo. "Oh good they fit" Melissa said while going towards Law. "Yeah they do thanks again for letting me stay here" Law said while giving Melissa his regular clothes. "It's no problem it's fun hanging around you now go to bed" Melissa said while lightly pushing law to the spare bed they had. "Good night Melissa" Law said while yawning. "Night Law-ya" Melissa said while drifting off to sleep. And right before Law went to a deep slumber the only thing on his mind was

'I'm glad I meet you Melissa'
