What I didn't know....

was that Gladion was following me back there as well. At that very same moment...

---

"Yo!" Guzma shouted in front of the Grunts, "Today, we're checking your progress on how much you've trained your Pokémon. We need to be better with our Pokemon!"

"Yo bro, I don't want him to pick me." A grunt whispered to a nearby friend of his I assume, I looked back over to Guzma, what did that grunt mean by pick? I decided to ask. "Yo dog? What yo mean by pick?" The grunt shook his head, "Each time Guzma has one of deez meetings, he always picks someone to battle to see if our progress has gotten betta."

"That's a bit strange yo, I didn't know he co-."

"You!" Guzma yelled, "Turned around talking, come up here!" All the grunts, turned toward me. I looked at Guzma, he looked infuriated. "Shit.." I mumbled, and slowly made my way up to the stand where he was. Everyone stared, some pointed, laughing. My eyes wondered off, there's got to be a way out of this. As I approached the steps of the stand, I noticed there was no one behind the stand. That's it!

In the split second I took the chance of running in the other direction, I didn't dare to look back. "GET HER NOW!" Guzma voice rumbled and I heard running footsteps behind me. They were all after me, what to do, what to do...

I took sharp turns in the forest, trying to loose them, but it was no use, there were too many of them. I ran as fast as I could, through the forest, until a hill a hill made its way in my path. I tried to slow down, but my acceleration was just too much.

I continued down the hill, loosing my balance and falling over, rolling down over and over again. I laid at the bottom in pain and fatigue, trying to get up. One blue haired grunt stood over me, "I found her! I need ta get someone!" He ran off, it was only a matter of time before he'll get back. I put my elbows in the dirt, and began to crawl away, dragging my body on the ground. The world just kept spinning around me, I couldn't tell where I was going. I could see more figures coming, it was too late. I gave up, laying on the ground.

I felt something grab my leg and pull me into a bush. I yelped but my mouth was quickly covered by a hand, the other open arm wrapped around me, keeping me close. A husky voice whispered in my ear, "Stay quiet if you want to live, they'll kill you, or even worse."

"Where is she?!" A voice yelled outside of the tent. I trembled, trying to stay quiet, not knowing whom was behind me or how they found me or how the world just kept spinning and spinning. Tears began to drizzle down my face, I was terrified, my body shook uncontrollably.

"She waz here! I knowz it! I saw her."

"Well she's not here anymore. KEEP LOOKING!" I noticed that there was a gun in that man's hand..

I felt my body begin to get weaker, the world around me just kept spinning and spinning. My heart rate just kept increasing and increasing until

...

Everything went black.

...

A sense of warmth wrapped my body as I slowly woke up. My eyes inched open to see a room, the motel room, on Route 8. The comforter of the bed covered my body. Smells of cooking filled my lungs. I turned my head toward the smell.

"Oh, you're up." Gladion stood by the stove, pouring a mixture in the bowl, and turning off the stove. He walked over to the bedside, handing me the bowl with a spoon. "What's this?"

"Eat it, it'll make you feel better."

"But what is it?" I questioned raising an eyebrow. He sighed, knowing I wouldn't give up until he told me, "It's soup, my mother's recipe, she would make it for me when I would get sick. Before she became how she is today." I looked at my bowl of soup, taking the spoon and tasting it.

"Woah! Gladion, that's very good!" I continued to slurp down the soup but slowed down because I didn't want to be rude. "Say Gladion?"

"What?"

"Why did you help me out there? Like back then?"

He grinned, and got up, walking closer to me. A Pink tint grew on my face as he got closer, "Because I know who you are, (Y/n). You're not Grunt (F/l)." He took off my wig and threw it on the other side of the room. My (E/c) hair fell down my shoulders, I looked at him, surprisingly.

"The real question is," He tilted my chin up to look into his eyes, at this point, I probably looked like a red beet. "How come you lied to everyone and concealed your appearance? Even Hau and Lillie were questioning where you went. Lillie said she thought you returned to Kanto without telling them. But what was peculiar, was that your mother was still here." He backed up from me and took a seat back on the bed. My eyes darted off to the side, "Could I get changed out of this first, then tell you?"

Gladion sighed, nodding, "Bathroom is that door right there. If you try to leave, I'll notice." He pointed near where my wig was so I picked up the wig, walking into the bathroom.

---0000-----Gladion's Point of View----000--000---00

My mind raced with different thoughts. I could only tell that the so called 'Gunt (F/l)' was (Y/n) because of her battling style and at the fact that she beat me. I looked at my hand, for awhile I was actually worried about her...I cared about where she had went. And for a reason... I was hoping she was still in Alola..

My hand clenched in a fist...

What are these feelings? Why does she make me feel like I care?  I've only cared about my family, but even then

It didn't feel like how I feel with her.
