I was slowly gaining conscience, but my vision was still blurry.. I could hear other people in the room groaning. I had a splitting headache and my eyes wouldn't focus. When my eyes cleared up nearly 23 strangers were scattered around the room some leaning against walls, some on the floor, and some on top of others. I attempted to stand, not having nearly the strength I did before. I stumbled and fell straight to my knees.

"She's awake!" a guy said, waking up most of the strangers. "Why do we care if the pretty princess is awake?" a girl said next to the man, her hair nappy. She wore scruffy black jeggings, and a simple tight crop top that was torn on the edge. The man aside her had dirty jeans on with a black t-shirt that was too large for his body. "Jade! Be nice," He spoke, nudging her in the rib. "Whatever you say brother." she smirked at me, looking up and down at my tattered clothes.

After being in this box like basement, I've met 20 of the strangers, and the other three handed me rude looks and disapproval judgment. An envelope slipped under the door. Silence ran though the room. Jade's brother John picked up the envelope and read it out loud.

"Don't touch the walls." He said. Everyone was confused, and huddled in the center of the room. I heard laughing in one of the corners of the room. I saw a woman dressed in a tight black dress laughing and hitting the wall. Jade went to go grab her, but the woman kept shaking her off.

"Nothings going to happen! See Nothing!" she shouted "You're all idiots, see. You're wrong! Nothing's going to happen!" I believed she was drunk. We didn't know what was going to happen. Maybe she was right nothing's going to happen. Maybe we're all wrong, but something didn't seem right to me. Thomas dragged Jade away from the woman. Thomas had a scared look on his face like he knew something was going to happen. Minutes past, the woman was still banging on the wall and yelling constantly saying we're idiots, and that nothing was going to happen. That's when it happened. A gun shot straight through her head right on the bridge of her nose, and she fell backwards. People started screaming, and crying.

"It came from the wall." A guy named Derek said. Derek went , and examined the hole the bullet came from, and that's when a sword went up and into his chest making him cough out blood. Just looking at Derek's and the woman's dead body made me want to throw up, but looking at their faces was terrifying. Their eyes were rolled back to where we see only the whites with blood leaking out of their faces. I pitied them. They died a horrible death. I couldn't handle the strong smell of blood so I covered my nose with my shirt trying to vent it. Jade went over to the woman that was on the floor and closed her eyes. Then she went to Derek's body and closed his eyes. Is this how we are suppose to die?
