HIS POSSESSIVE LOVE

Chapter 9

His eyes widened when he saw me walking towards him. The previous hardness vanished from his eyes and those unnamed emotions started showing again. But the desire stood apart from all those emotions. What is he thinking? Does he find me as desirable as I find him? I stared straight into his eyes trying not to cower from his intimidating gaze. I can do this! I can do this! I chanted this mantra mentally. I saw him excuse himself from all the people around him and started moving straight towards me. Many people stopped to shake his hand and introduce themselves to him. But he paid no attention to them and kept walking with his eyes on his destination.ME.

He met me halfway and said in that husky caramel voice of his "Hey beautiful! I didn't introduce myself properly to you. Alexander Knight at your service beautiful madam!" He towered over me deliciously and I couldn't help the blush that spread over my cheeks. He brought his hand forward and took my hand in his. Electric shocks were running in my whole body. My hand was dwarfed by his gigantic one. "Athena Black." I replied huskily. What happened to my voice? He kissed my hand gently and desire shot straight to my core. I suddenly felt hot and his eyes darkened even more. Could this be anymore hot? 

"Breathe baby!" He bent down and mumbled in my ear. I was shocked to realise that i had completely stopped breathing. His face near mine, my hands in his and his breath in my ears  was doing strange things to my body. All emotions were hitting me like a tsunami. I took a ragged breath and gathered courage. Then I raised my head and looked into his eyes directly. More desire entered his expression and his eyes widened. He was looking at me with so much adoration and desire that I just wanted to melt into a puddle. Never had a man looked at me with such an intense expression.

"Mr. Knight! It is a pleasure to meet you! I have to say that you are really hot. Frankly I had pictured a nerdy, potbellied, bald guy. I am not at all disappointed though." I said confidently when i had none. My voice betrayed my confidence though. It was shaky and stuttered and Alexander seem to see right through me because a knowing glint shone in his eyes. He smiled mysteriously as if enjoying a private joke.

"Athena, even I have to say that you are quite opposite of what i imagined. A beautiful woman with an equally beautiful sense of humor. I am happily surprised though baby. You are a complete goddess sent on this earth to destroy us mortal men. A pure temptation in disguise. I have never seen something or someone as beautiful as you." By the end of the sentence he had bent to my face level. He was so close that I could feel his breath on my lips. His words did unimaginable thing to my body. I tried moving away from to stop this onslaught of emotions. As if he could read my mind, he stepped closer and pulled my hand into his. He then started moving away from the crowd and towards the parking area. Holy cow! What is he doing?

He was walking really fast and I had to practically run to keep up with him. "Mr. Knight please leave my hand and me." Instead of doing so he tightened his hold on me and said "It's Alexander for you baby." We came to a stop in front of a shiny and expensive sleek Audi R8. He motioned for me to get in but I stood my ground not moving.  "Baby we can do this the easy way where you get into the car without any protests OR the hard way where i pick you up and deposit you in this seat. With the way I am feeling, I really hope you choose the latter." He said in that deep voice. Frightened I opened the door and got in. The plan completely backfired but I couldn't help the excitement coursing through me. I looked out of the window and saw my 3 dear friends looking at me with concern. I smiled reassuringly at them but there was only one thought running in my head.I am in so much trouble.
