HIS POSSESSIVE LOVE

Chapter 10

The car sped through the town making a purring noise and with so much ease and comfort. We were cruising at a speed of 120kmph but I couldn't give a damn because I was busy ogling at the god-like creature sitting beside me. I watched him in wonder as he drove the car with so much grace. The corner of his mouth turned up and he looked at me from the corner of his eye. “Like what you see babe? I sure as hell do!” I blushed for the thousandth time. A definite first.

“I have seen much better.” I stuttered out a reply. The playfulness vanished from his expression and he replied in a cold voice. “But I will definitely be the last. ” His tone made me shiver in both good and bad way. I frowned obviously I have never seen someone better than him but what was up with that scary reply.

We were silent for a long time but it was a comfortable one. I took my time to look at him again but discreetly this time. Suddenly the hands-off started ringing. “Knight” he snapped. Gosh someone's got their panties in twist. I couldn't help but wonder maybe this sudden change in mood was because of my remark.

“Sir, everything is set and ready the way you asked. ” A disembodied woman's voice replied without any fear. As if she was used to this kind of treatment. “Good! Thank you Sheila! ” He replied in a much cooler tone. Even the woman on the other end must have surprised because she stammered out a response. “Very well Sir. Have a good day.” With that the conversation was ended. That got me thinking of the way he is abrupt with everyone. I suppose everyone just jumps at his orders and do anything he wants. He is probably used to getting his way with everything. Is he a gentle lover or this cold hearted partner in his relationships? I frowned at my own wayward thoughts.

His mood had changed again. Maybe he is bipolar. That made me giggle. “That is a really lovely sound baby. Care to share that joke with me? Though I think that you might be laughing at my expense. I will let it slip this time because I loved that sound.” I shut up immediately. “I was just laughing at something I remembered, not you.” I lied smoothly and then did a mental victory dance when my voice didn't waver.

After few minutes' of drive we reached at a meadow in a forest. I could see the sunlight streaming from between the trees. Birds chirping loudly and other animals making sounds I couldn't distinguish. But the first thought that entered my entranced mind was I am going to be killed. But what a scene to die at. Alexander chuckled but then his eyes darkened and he huskily replied “Not in the literal way but I have other effective methods up my sleeve.” Delicious shivers ran down my spine because I knew he was not talking about killing me with tools but with pleasure.

He got out from his side and opened the car gate for me. “Milady.” I couldn't help but giggle again. This guy is going to make me a giggler. We walked a little distance and I saw a wooden bench with two wooden seats in front of each other. A basket was laid out with a bottle of champagne in an ice bucket. Alexander took my hand and pulled the seat for me. He went around the bench and sat on the other seat.

“Let's celebrate our meeting with this brunch. Think of as the first of many dates. Isn't that what these kids do nowadays. You have to forgive me though as I have never been on one of these ever.” I gaped at him. “Date?? What do you mean? First you kidnap me and then you go all sweet on me with this beautiful brunch. What is up with you?” I was panting at the end of my sentence.

“Baby calm down please. I am completely out of my element here. Give me a business deal and I wouldn't even break a sweat but I am nervous about this. I have never felt anything like this in my life and I don't know the steps to be taken to impress you. I just want you to be mine.” I blushed and felt the immense pleasure that he was also feeling this thing between us. But weren't we moving a tad too fast? He wanted me to be His? What did that even mean?

“Ok. But maybe we should just try to get to know each other first?” I said cautiously just than my phone started ringing. I took my phone out and saw that Jace was calling me. When Alexander small the caller his expression morphed into one of extreme anger. Am I in trouble again?
