" If you have questions then that will be all. No need for you to come in and disturb my privacy......what are these questions about exactly?" Said Ashdin.

Ashdin's response sound protective and cautious all the same. That made me want to see what the man looked like. Scared or not, I can't risk my cover.

I'm also in a gown. How did I even get in this thing?

" Mr. Helton, the question here really is..who are these questions about? And how far are you willing to go to protect her?" I felt my eyes go wide, like what the holy hell? Who is her? Me? My mother? Hell how many women in the world does Ashdin know?

" Okay?" Ashdin's voice made me worry, what is he thinking. He better not do something stupid.

I don't know which would be more idiotic...giving me up and becoming a traitor, or killing the man... both would hurt. Both gave me shivers.

I can't allow Ashdin to go through with killing someone and live a life on the run. Live a life of death. He is not destined for that life.

And I know for certain if he gave me up....he still wouldn't making it out alive, seeing that he has been hiding me this past week. Who is this man and how did he find me? Is it even me he is looking for?

" Mr. Helton-" the man started until there was ringing from a phone.

I started searching around the kitchen, frantically, to locate the sound. Only seconds later did I realize the man outside was on a phone. That's where the noise was coming from.

I tried to make out what he was saying only to catch the whispered yelling of..boss?.....I am doing what's best boss... No sir...Yes sir.....I'll take care of it sir

After a few moments of silence, I started thinking through what he was saying...Did he disobey his bosses order to coming here? Who is his boss? What is he really doing here? Did he just leave? Take care of what?

With the last thought on my mind I jumped out of the kitchen to see that Ashdin and the man were gone and the chained lock at the top was broken. Ashdin? Oh hell no...

How did I miss him? What the hell holy hellish shit loads of trouble fuck? I started searching the house, searching every single room and corner. I made it to Ashdin's room last and collapsed on the bed not finding him.

I felt tears well up on the corners of my eyes only to quickly blink them away. I can't leave Ashdin alone with what ever or who ever those fuckwits were. These tears are gonna have to wait for awhile.

I ran out of the bedroom door, through the hallway to the front door. Almost forgetting the keys I ran  back and grabbed the keys on the coat hanger hanging next to the light switch. Only to find the keys gone. What the holy hell? Is my new favorite 4 letter question.

I ran to the small table lined against the wall and pulled open the drawer. Grabbing the phone and glock I had hidden in there after my little chat with Ashdin last night.

I opened the flip phone, yes, it was old school. It was also cheap which meant it was disposable. I dialed the only number out of a few that could help me in this situation. If this doesn't work then hell, not much more I could lose.

     "Hello?"

"Jace.... I need your help," in the inside I was smirking remembering how I left him the night before I turned 18.

"Callie!?....Oh my gollyness, Callie what happened? Where have you been? People have been asking around for you? Did you hear what happened at your place? Are you coming back? How come you nev-," wow he asks alot of questions.

"Jace, Ashdin is in trouble, so am I....but we need to focus on Ashdin. Are you gonna help or not? And do you think everyone else can help?"

I can't imagine them turning down the chance to help  but I left without a goodbye. I'm not sure how angry they are or if they would forgive me, for even Ash's sake.

"Yes Callie of course we would help, we would die for you... even Jerry would." I frowned at the mention of Jerry's name.

Gosh he must hate me. He is the 2nd biggest sensitive-ass I have ever met and worked with, but I'm also the worst when it comes to comparing the worst in life to personalities.

" Okay...thank you so much, meet me at the Oakhand Bridge, fast. I'll explain everything when you guys get there. Be there in five. 4 his is an emergency." With that I hung up the phone and ran to the backyard to find Harley Baby, or so that's what Ash would call it.

Ohhh Ash would kill me for taking his baby, oh well. It's life or death for him, he wouldn't care...much.....
