When you're no longer welcome where you once felt like home
You search for the feeling from braving the unknown
As children we're taught to believe and have faith
Although as we grow life tests our fates
As a woman who loves with my entire heart and soul
Some days I feel young, but most recently too old
I have yet to accomplish all the dreams I once dreamt
When reality kicks in will I be the keeper or be kept
My path lays ahead still shrouded in doubts
I'll prove to myself that your opinions don't count
