Chapter 1- Don't try to be a hero

         'You leave her alone!!' At the sound of the unfamiliar voice. I stopped at the corner and saw her there with a strangers neck in her hands the other girl screaming at her to stop. I was frozen in place and that's when I heard it...her voice

'Or what?' She replied a sense of venom in her tone. She seemed evil, almost... sinister.

'I'll call the cops!' The other girl warned. I think her name was Ashley.

And that's when I saw it her smile or more like smirk.

'Go ahead.' She stated simply. But as Ashley reached for her phone the girl practically threw Ashleys friend at her.

Letting the phone slide across the ground and leaving them both on the ground whimpering as she towered above. Just as she went for the both of them I shouted 'Hey!' finally making my presence known...

That was a bad idea, the girls took this opportunity to flee as she turned towards me and then back at the ground where the two girls once lay cowering before looking back at me angrily.
The death glare was enough to get me running for the hills so I did.

'Hey yourself!' I heard her shout followed by fast pace footsteps. I turned to determine whether or not I would make it to safety on time but she was gone. I stopped dead breathing heavily.
I slumped against a tree to catch my breath, trying to take in what I had just witnessed. Then sitting down I stared into the distance.

How much do you have to piss of a person for them to want to do something like that? What would have happened if I wasn't there?

'Yeah I wonder that too' I heard her voice making me jump. She was stood leaning against the tree looking down at me.
'Holy crap! You scared me' I replied with the first thought that came to my head. 'Wait I wasn't even talking allowed??' I spoke.

'Kinda the idea... And forget that...now where was I...oh yes' she faked pondering over something before lifting me off my feet by the colour of my button up. Holy shit she is strong!

'Okay okay I'm sorry but you looked like you were gonna kill her!!' I screamed struggling against her grip.

'Uhuh and now I'm gonna kill you' she smiled like a psychopath.

'What?!' I practically screamed trying to wriggle out of her grasp once again.

'I just didn't want you hurting those girls! Why were you hurting those girls? I don't even know you!' I tried to reason and question all at once, screaming at the...girl.

'God why do they always struggle' I heard her mutter. What was this girls problem I thought she was a loner not a psycho killer.
She moved closer to me before I felt my ass hit the floor and I looked up to see her holding her chest. What the hell was happening.

'Ahhhhhh' she screamed and went for me once more before some imaginary force flung her backwards. The anger seemed to build in her before she dropped and looked up her head looked like it was pulsing.

'Not her. No I don't even know her' I heard her say all sense of danger in her voice clearing a path for her desperate tone to make its way through.

Typically I should have ran, any sane person would have but my curiosity got the best of me and I moved towards her.
Her anger faded as I crouched down

'What the hell is going on?' I asked and she looked at me. Her gaze softened and all the anger in her seemed to fade. I stood up out of fear she was tricking me.
A minute ago she was about to kill me and 20 seconds ago she was cursing at the Gods.

'What's your name?' She asked but I wasn't going to let her change the subject.

'No way answer my question first' I demanded which didn't seem smart but neither did staying so what do I know.

'I wish I could but first...your name' she said a slight pinch of anger in her voice.

'Hey we're all cool here dude just chill' I said putting my hands up in defence. God why was I even talking to her didn't she just try to kill me.

'Name' she stated. Okay fine probably shouldn't piss off this girl more.

'Fine.' I spoke like a child getting told to apologise. 'I'm H-Hannah' I stuttered as her eyes bored into mine.
'Well hannah' she smirked as she emphasised my name. 'Come with me' and she held out her hand.

'Are you crazy?! You just tried to kill me and now you want me to follow you...no way! Besides I don't even know your name!' I shouted trying to draw some attention to anyone outside the alley.

Without warning her hand covered my mouth and my back was slammed against the tree.

'I'm grace' she said I mumbled 'whatever' as I tried to remove her hand from my face.
'Now follow me' she spoke beginning to look like she was in pain again.

'Just because you told me your name doesn't mean I trust you' I spat still quite angry that this girl had tried to kill me, shut me up and also curse at the sky because of me.
This is more confusing than the time I saw a guy dressed in a bear costume run through the dinner hall screaming 'the elves are coming!'...don't ask

       She sighed under her breath, before saying. 'Well' and she picked me up and flung me over her shoulders.

'Hey! Grace!' I screamed now knowing her name. 'Hey you can't do this'

'Oh really cause it looks like I am' she replied smugly before walking to where her car was parked.

'This is kidnapping...she's kidnapping me!!' I screamed but there was no one around. I gave up and slumped myself over her back .

'God all of this just because I tried to save two girls I didn't even know' I sulked.

'That's why you don't try to be a hero Hannah' she said. Before flinging me into the front seat of her car.

'You can't keep me here' I said but she leaned across me with the seatbelt before turning to me. Her face was so close to mine as she was pushed against me 'watch me' she whispered staring into my eyes. I blushed and looked down 'don't move' I felt like I was in a trance so I just nodded my head before finally relaxing as she clicked in the seatbelt and left to get into the drivers side...
