Heres another chapter for you guys thanks for reading :p
Hannah.
After explaining everything that had happened Hannah took a deep breath rubbing her temples from stress.
'Well...shit' Mamrie breathed out and sat next to Hannah by the log.
Both girls had their knees to their chest, their arms resting on them, looking anywhere but eachother.
Hannah was tired of speaking now. Every word she had said had fuelled this unexpected fire and now she just wanted to be quiet...silence was serenity.
Serenity that was rudely interrupted by Mamrie'Look Hannah...' Mamrie began but Hannah held her hand up to halt Mamrie's words. She didn't know if she would like what she would hear so instead she chose not to let the words even enter her head.
'Please. I-I can't do this right now.' Hannah stuttered out before explaining further
'I just feel like I need to sleep, like this is a dream and if I go back to sleep I'll wake up in my psychology class that I was in before I met grace in that alley' Hannah closed her eyes in an attempt to escape this...this place then tilted her head towards the sky, taking a deep breath to calm herself.
Mamrie didn't want to believe what she had just heard
'You want to wish it all away Hannah...because you can't. This is real. It won't just go away. It would have happened at some point anyway.'Mamrie reached out to console Hannah and surprisingly Hannah had let her.
'Why?' Hannah asked as she cuddled into Mamrie.'It's just the way it is Hannah' for some reason at the sound of Mamrie's voice she tensed. Realisation hit her and she started to wonder why she was even letting herself be comforted by this...bloodsucker.
'Now that's just rude' Mamrie said and looked at Hannah who had now moved from the redheads grasp just as fast as she had embraced it.
'I don't know why I'm-I'm just' Hannah hated this. She just wanted to be alone. She couldn't think. She didn't know what to say!
'I'm sorry I'll leave you to think' Mamrie spoke, regardless of the insult she had just indirectly received from the blonde.
'Stay out of my head!' Hannah yelled.
'Chill!' Mamrie protested. 'I'm sorry okay, it's just easier to read a situation when I know how your feeling'
'I don't even know what I'm feeling thanks to your sister' Hannah calmed down at the thought of Grace. She really needed to stop with these outbursts but could you blame her?'Yeah you do' at the response Hannah narrowed her eyes at the vampire
'chill' Mamrie repeated upon noticing the blondes face and laughed a little holding her hands up in surrender.
Hannah breathed and laughed a little as it was kinda funny she guessed. Besides she needed to feel something other than anger and confusion so laughing was relaxing to her.
'Oh and my sister...' Hannah looked up and met the taller girls eyes '...didn't chose this either.' Hannah's face twisted in confusion but she didn't respond in anyway to the taller girl. So Mamrie continued'She doesn't know what she's feeling thanks to you... It works both ways' Mamrie stated before running off.
Hannah was left with that last thought as Mamrie disappeared into the trees.Grace.
Grace went for a walk. If she wanted to she could run...run to the end of the country and back but instead she just walked.
She didn't want to run. She can't run from this. What was the point when all she could do at this point was wait. Wait for time to pass.
She began humming to herself to fill the silence as she wandered along the trail 'How do humans do this...it's so boring' Grace said aloud to herself continuing on in the quiet.
She was so used to running to let of steam that she just began to travel that way in general. However this time she continued to walk...just walk.
