I sighed and pushed his hands away.
"There's nothing to explain. What happened..happened so there's no explaining it."
"Yes there is, Ciara. You never even gave me a chance to tell you what really happened!"
"Then explain Ethan! Explain how you got caught with another girl!"
He sighed in annoyance.
"Blair told me that she needed to tell me something about you..so I followed her upstairs. Then she pulled me into a room and started giggling. She took off her shirt, and I asked her what she was doing. She said that she just wanted to get me to herself-"
I scoffed and rolled my eyes.
"Can I finish?"
I sat on the counter and sighed.
"Sure."
"She started touching me and I backed away. Then all of a sudden she pulled me down onto her and we fell onto the bed. Then she yelled out my name, you know,..in a sexual way, and then you walked in."
I didn't know if I should believe him. The story sounded really coincidental to me.
"You walked away and I couldn't explain."
"That sounds..so...fake."
He looked up at me.
"What? You think I'm lying?"
I shrugged. He pulled out his phone and showed me messages between him and Blair. It was her apologizing for what she did and for messing with our relationship. I bit my lip and moved the phone away.
"See. It was all a big mistake."
I didn't know what to say. I felt stupid for not letting him explain. I actually felt kinda..bad.
Grayson's P.O.V.
After their arguing, I heard silence in the kitchen. I sighed, and decided to go. They needed to talk some stuff out and I didn't want to be in the way. I walked into the kitchen and sighed.
"I'm heading out. I'll see you later Ciara."
She nodded and hugged me before I left.
Ciara's P.O.V.
I sighed as Ethan walked closer to me.
"Do you still not believe me?"
"Yes. I believe you now. I just..feel stupid for not believing you.."
"I don't blame you."
"Still. I should've already let you explain. I'm sorry."
He gave me a small smile.
"It's fine." He gave me a soft look and walked closer to me. "Where do we go from here?"
I placed my hand on his cheek and brought his face closer to mine.
"We make up for lost time."
He placed his lips on mine and slowly pulled away.
"Exactly what I was thinking." He smiled before pulling me closer to him and embracing me in a hug.
The rest of the day was spent cuddling and watching Netflix. Eventually we fell asleep together in my room.
*Later that night*
I woke up in the middle night to someone banging on my front door. I rubbed my eyes and sat up. Ethan was still sleeping and I decided not to wake him. The fact that it was pouring outside added a creepy factor to the fact that someone was banging on my front door. I walked downstairs to see who it was but it was too dark outside to see. I sighed and asked who it was but the rain was so loud I couldn't hear. I couldn't even hear if it was a girl or a guy. I just decided to open it.
I opened the door to reveal someone I hadn't seen in a long time.......
