It was a night like no other. Chilly, on an open, dark, and dreary street. One light flickered in the night. A figure became visible under the light, what or who was it? A boy sat against a building across the street, just wondering. She, was a plain little girl, about age twelve, shrouded in the bright light, from the street light above her. Silence felt like dead weight around her. She was trapped in this hateful world, no one to know the pain she has gone through. The girl appeared younger than her actual age; she had short blonde hair; bright green eyes, much like cat's eyes; and she wore the cutest outfits she could find in the old orphanage, it was never much bother to her as long as she could keep her style. Tonight she had on a big purple winter coat, white mittens, and a tan hat, with her usual ripped blue-jeans.
The girl had not seen the mysterious older boy, age fifteen, standing in the shadows across from where she stood. He was a quiet and mischievous one, thinking he could be, because he was the mayor's son. A rich kid, spying on a poor orphan in the dead of night, may leave everyone cause for concern.
They shared a connection only the boy had thought to exist. Research in many disclosed places had led to this. However it may be false information, he can't hack into too many servers or IP addresses, it would become even more cause for suspicion.
He would never want to ruin what his own father was building up towards, his father may face problems with his upcoming presidential candidacy, if his son was caught using government information for his own personal gain.
They had never spoken and Kelly, the orphan-girl had never seen him in her life. He on the other hand, observed her on many occasions, when he had no one watching him leave his mansion.
Even thinking about leaving a secure place, left questions as to how Kelly was able to leave the orphanage, she was doomed to live in for another six years. (Orphanages often had older children because no one really wants to adopt an attitude stricken teenager.)
The wind woke Caleb from his thoughts, the girl was no longer in front of him, and all he could feel was nothing, he had a very light North Face black jacket on, and his thin fabric Converse were not helping keep his feet warm either. This was his first mistake. His second mistake was when he found himself not touching the brick of the building behind him, this was very concerning, had she seen him? Many questions and no answers were now floating around Caleb's intelligent mind.
Caleb went home perplexed that evening. Kelly had gone inside because of the cold, she could not afford to be sick. Caleb knew nothing of Kelly's struggles, where she was trapped in a hating home.
In the morning, Caleb ran past his father, Mayor Taylor Groves. He was excited to see Kelly at school. Kelly never knew she was being watched at least not until possibly last night. Caleb was in eighth grade while Kelly was in sixth grade.
Caleb's dad was a well respected politician, who put forth what everyone wanted. He never felt like he was in a party. Until, election season kicked into full gear. Caleb was shocked at how many signs were in their front yard alone, he had made it clear that he was supporting Hillary all the way. two..four..six..eight..We know who you appreciate, being put into office as a president. Even more signs than that were present though, Caleb just never liked math, even simple counting past ten confused him.
His dad could no longer left their home, without five or more reporters in his face about his upcoming campaign and questions on why he supported Hillary. Caleb also wondered this, maybe just too young and dumb to understand the world around him yet, after thinking Hillary should be arrested and, Donald had no business in politics. Caleb believed the world would just implode in a few months. That was the brain of someone who had no care as long as his father supported him like a crutch, he had no plans, he was rich.
