Skylar a sixteen year old teen, bumps into a boy her age, but she seems to be the only person that can see him. Turns out, his soul was stolen from a fox demon. Then, she finds out that she can control demons once she has made a contract with them...
School had ended over an hour ago, and the school was technical closed. Yet here I was, with Orion and Leo. I'd called Orion and told him that Leo and I were making a contract, and we didn't know how to do it exactly. He did, so we called him. That's why we're standing on the roof of Arcane High when it's supposed to be closed.
"Can we hurry up and start? I'm getting cold."
"Can you even get cold?"
"Yes I can. I told you I'm not dead! Only normal humans can't see me. Imbecile."
"Hey don't call her an imbecile!"
"Thank you Leo. Someone can act like a gentlemen!"
"Oh stop complaining. I'm only stating the facts. You're the stupidest girl I know."
Leo and I glared at him. He glared back.
I broke glares first, "Can we just start? Talking about getting cold is making me cold."
"Finally!"
Leo snapped at Orion, "You were the one who started the fight."
Orion tilted his head, "Oh yea?"
"Yea."
"And I'm ending it!" I glared at both boys, "Orion what do we say?"
"Repeat after me, 'The earth and the wind is our witness'."
We did.
Orion looked at me, "Just you. 'I, your name, and..." He looked at Leo, "Now you, 'I, your name... Now together, 'will bind our fates together with this contract'. Now each of you say 'I will be' and state what you promise to do."
We did as we were told.
"I Skylar..."
"And I Leo...
"...will bind our fates together with this contract."
"I will be..." I paused, "I will be fair, I will do as much as I can to help you feel like you belong, and I will always be there for you."
Leo smiled, "I will be loyal, trustworthy, protect you to the best of my ability, and I will always love you no matter what."
Orion pretended to barf, "Now both of you say 'With our blood we seal the contract'. And give me your hands."
"With our blood..." Orion sliced a cut into one of our palms each, "We seal the contract."
We put our bloody hands together, and there was a faint glow.
Orion sighed, "The contract has been sealed. Now can I go?"
I glared at Orion, "Yes you can go! Sheesh!"
"Finally! Thank you....also there might be some side effects since you have no experience with making contracts."
Before I could reply he disappeared, and I glared at the spot he had been standing at.
I looked at Leo, "What kind of side effects?"
Leo shrugged, "I don't know. This is the first time I've made a contract too. Plus, he said there might be side effects, there might not be any."
I sighed. "I hope so."
