Skylar a sixteen year old teen, bumps into a boy her age, but she seems to be the only person that can see him. Turns out, his soul was stolen from a fox demon. Then, she finds out that she can control demons once she has made a contract with them...
I yawned as I opened my eyes, and stared up at the ceiling. I smiled remembering the night before, and I couldn't help a slight pink coming to my cheeks. I kissed Leo on the cheek! Yea, we've held hands and there was the time he nibbled my cat ears, but that doesn't count because our contract was going wonky.
I sighed, and gently touched my lips. I can still feel the softness of his cheek, and I felt my face heat up all over again. I gently slapped both of mt cheeks. "Stop it. It was just a kiss on the cheek."
That helped a little, so I got ready for school.

When I got to class Leo wasn't there. I took my seat, and stared at his desk until the bell rang. Leo's never been absent before, and I feel a tug in my chest. Mr. Euclid started to teach the lesson, I stared down at my desk. I hope he's okay.
I wonder if he's sick, but wouldn't I be sick too? Maybe it doesn't work that way. I'd have to ask Orion. I looked back up the teacher, and saw his back was to me. I slid my phone out of my pocket, and discreetly texted Orion.
S: When a contracted gets sick, will I get sick too?
It only took a minute for him to answer.
O: No. Why?
S: Well, Leo isn't here, so I thought maybe he might be sick. Could you check on him for me?
O: ..........
S: Please?
O: Fine. :/
S: Thank you soo much! Don't worry I'll owe you one.
O: Oh, really?
S: Yes, I promise.....as long as it's nothing I wouldn't do.
O: }:)
A devil emoji? Now I'm scared.
S: What is that supposed to mean?
He didn't reply back, and just as I was about to put my phone away Mr. Euclid caught me on my phone.
"Skylar, I'd appreciate it if you tried to pay attention in class. Your grade went from an A to a B-."
"Yes, Mr. Euclid. I apologize. It won't happen again."
"I hope not, or I'll have to give you a referral."
"Yes, I'm sorry."
I blushed as a couple students whispered oohs and laughed at me.

Orion finally texted me back in lunch. I was so glad it wasn't another one of my classes.
O: He only has a cold.
S: Oh I'm glad it's nothing serious.
O: Come to practice tonight. On the balcony.
S: But I wanted to go to Leo's to see if I could do anything for him.
O: You can't. Besides you said you'd do anything, so meet me at the usual time on the balcony.
S: Give me an hour to see Leo. I'll come to practice right after. Please.
O: Fine. You owe me again.
S: Fine.
O: You better not be late.
S: I won't.
O: Yea, yea.
