Chapter 19 - The Plan

Sorry it's late but day before school and all ;) Won't say much, read authors note at the end it's about updates! Kind of rushed this update so tell me if you find any mistakes, Enjoy...

Brittani's POV

After the eventful night with the intruder that supposedly wasn't there, but I still believe something was there. Anyway, the rest of the night was peaceful (sarcasm), I wouldn't go back to sleep until late and Jason stayed up until I went to sleep so that made me feel a bit safer.

I woke up to find Jason.... not there? I was just laid in bed by myself, I  was still on edge from last night and to be honest every little unexpected sound I heard frightened me to death. I slowly padded downstairs, trying to quieten my footsteps as I didn't know what time it was because Jason obviously thinks that a clock isn't important at all! Once I reached the bottom of the stairs I listened for some sort of sound to tell me where he was, I heard voices coming from a room, I still don't know where anything is!, I walked in expecting to see Jason only to see a messy-haired Chaz, he didn't notice me so I coughed slightly, so he knew someone was there. He looked over to me with a confused expression then it lightened "Oh, it's you.... morning" he said happily, "Yeah it's me, do you know where Jason is?" I asked, Chaz looked at me hurt almost "Well, morning to you too!" he remarked in a sarcastic tone of voice, I sighed "Morning, do you..." I mumbled but Chaz cut me off halfway through, "He's in the kitchen" he mumbled, I gave him a confused look, I didn't really know where that was. "Through that door, to the left" he said like he was reading my mind, creepy?? I followed the directions and sure enough I opened a door that led to a room that had a basic description of a kitchen... Cooker, fridge, microwave, kettle, dog.....dog! I felt a wave fear when I saw the dog, why? Well it wasn't fluffy or little, it was a huge Rottweiler. The dog barked and ran towards me, I noticed it had a collar on, just as it got close to me it got pulled back by a lead. My eyes ran up from the dog to the lead then to who was holding the lead.... Jason.

He smirked at me "Scared you did she?" he said gesturing towards the dog. "Ummm, no" was all I could think to say. "She's friendly but she doesn't like strangers" he chuckled I just gave him a sarcastic smile and he returned it. "C'mon don't be scared she won't hurt you she's security" he said gesturing for me to come closer. I walked towards "her" and held out my hand for the dog to smell, then patted her on the head. "Morning kiss?" he asked, I pecked him on the lips. "Breakfast?" I asked, he chuckled and held out a plate of toast and mumbled "Here" as he passed me the plate. "So... I need to talk to you" he declared, picking me up and sitting me on the kitchen counter, "I've got to go out today and no one can stay with you" he said quickly, I tried to say what about Chaz but I had a mouthful of toast so it came out as hut haboo taz, Jason looked at me confused and I swallowed quickly and repeated "What about Chaz?" he looked at me curiously, "He's doing a job, that's why you've got the dog. Well the dogs for many reasons" he added. I looked at him basically gesturing for him to go on, he took a breath "Well one for security, two for company while your alone and finally so you can't escape" he said the last one while smirking. I flicked him off and he grabbed my plate "If your gonna be rude then I'll take the food away" he said sulking. I gave him puppy dog eyes, he sighed "fine" as he handed me the plate back. "Is the Jason Mccan getting soft?" added a voice in the background, Chaz. I chuckled and Jason gave him the death glare and Chaz held his hands up in surrender. "Hey, only stating the truth" Chaz mumbled earning himself another death glare from Jason and me snorting in laughter, which got me a death glare and that shut me up! "Bro, you ready?" Chaz asked Jason nodded, Jason walked closer to me and kissed me passionately. "Umm, sorry to ruin the moment but Jase we have to go" Chaz said while looking down to the floor. Jason just nodded and started walking away, breaking the kiss. "Bye!" I yelled after them. Jason's head popped around the door "Bye beautiful" he said smiling that made me grin, he's so sweet sometimes.

It was only an hour of being left alone and I was bored out of my mind, I went to go watch tv. That was until I heard a car pull up, I walked over to the window thinking it was Jason, he's back soon I said in my head. But when I got to the window I realised it wasn't Jason but a black van. 4 boys around Jason's age, some older got out of the van and started walking to the door, it was locked I sighed in relief, that was until I noticed they had guns... a lock's not gonna stop them. They were walking towards the door with a determined look in their eyes, I need to hide was the first thing that came to my mind. I looked around for the dog only to find it cowering under the kitchen counter, good guard dog!

I ran upstairs desperately looking for a place to hide, I could hear them knocking on the door, like I was gonna open the door for them! I ran into Jason's bathroom about to lock the door when I noticed the lock had been removed, as if he removed the lock! I screamed in my brain. I decided to hide under the bed because I could hear the footsteps downstairs, I heard a gunshot then a yelp, that's the dog, why would they decide to kill a for no reason! I was trembling and it got worse when I heard them coming up the stairs shouting words that I couldn't make out.... orders almost. The door swung open as I gasped slightly, I hoped that he hadn't heard it or I was screwed. I held my breath trying to make sure my breathing didn't give my hiding place away. The footsteps got closer to the bed. Not again, I can't be a hostage again, not again was all I kept repeating in my head, praying almost. I was too lost in thought and I was no longer focusing on the footsteps, that was until I felt a hand grasp around my ankle and yank me out from under the bed while yelling to the others that he "Found her!".... how rude I have a name!

Oooh Cliffhanger!! What do you think's gonna happen? Ideas!? Oh, about updates well, I'm back at school tomorrow so I won't be able to update as often but I'll try update often it's just homework and everything, will try update tomorrow if I get enough comments ;)
