The Mayor, Or a Hero (Part 1)

Starling City Hall

9:00 AM

*Citizens of Star City were crowding around waiting for me to come up on stage however I have name of coming late every time I need to go somewhere but this time I arrived not on time but no so late at least too.

I went up onto the stage to where the stand was and the microphone, I looked at the people for the first few seconds and then just before I could begin to speak I cleared my throat*

Me: first of I wanna say thank you to everyone who came, now as most of youse are probably wondering why I would be up here. Well let me tell you why, this city is falling and it needs someone to pick it up from the darkness that's risen but it needs someone who can control the people of this city and the crime that is taking place, this city needs someone who can show the light once again and show them that this city can improve because there are GOOD PEOPLE in this city and just because there are men and women who think they rule this city doesn't mean they can't be stopped. I'll tell you now that choosing me as a MAYOR would be the best choice every single citizen of Star City would have done and not just for me but in return for you to feel safe in this city but to do so it needs a great leader, a great citizen, A GREAT MAYOR. So vote for me and you will not regret this.

*Me and Batman had very quietly and carefully entered an apartment which I and Bruce think leads us to Sebastian Blood, we spread out in the apartment as Bruce checked both the kitchen and the living room however there was no succession to finding him until I went into his bedroom and found a hidden room behind a TV, I called Bruce quietly and told him to see this. I moved the TV slowly, Bruce tried opening it however the handle would not open, it was locked so we had no choice but to break the door open, quickly I broke down the door by kicking it but after I done so we'd seen a pile of human dead bodies piled on each other, the blood was spread on the floor but I had to take precautions as I aimed my arrow on my bow and ready to fight anyone although we went down to spectate the first thing we saw was injections stuck into people's necks while dried up blood was coming out of there eyes, my eyes widened but I felt a force of wind behind so as I turned around I was held by my neck and chucked across the room as there was a pile of empty boxes, I fell on the boxes and unfortunately before Batman can fight him too he was kicked across the other side of the room and onto the wall.

I got up and held my bow and before the man who chucked us can do anything else I shot an arrow aimed at his heart yet even though the arrow successfully went through him he did not seem to feel a slight thing as he kept running towards me and Batman, Bats was still on the ground so I grabbed him quickly and jumped down the apartment from the windows behind us, before we could land on the ground I grabbed my grapple gun and shot it to the next building next to the apartments. I aimed a smoke arrow to the apartment which the man was located in and shot the arrow into the window as the gas begun to spread around the apartment*

*Bruce seemed to be passed out or so as he did not either move or wake up but within a minute he opened his eyes and stood up*

Bruce: What the hell was that ?

Me: Not human!!!

Bruce: Whoever that was he was working with Blood then

Me: Yeah you're probably right but we need to go back NOW !

*Bats and I shot our grapple guns into the apartment and hoping that the smoke arrow done some sort of affection to him, we went back in and the smoke was just right around the room and it was beginning to disappear but as we got into the clear from the smoke we'd both seen another person... A girl who was wearing black leather costume along with it a black mask to prevent others from seeing who she is, the lady done fine beating him up with a metal silver staff she had whilst fighting him, I looked at Bruce however aimed an arrow at the man who attacked us yet as she turned around saw us she jumped on the roof and from the roof she done well jumping out the window, me and Bruce weren't able to focus on her too well as we needed to get done with the other but as we walked closer to him it seemed to us that he was either dead or just unconscious which I'm pretty sure she wouldn't have been able to have killed him that easily. Bats and I walked around the apartment again to see if there was any injections or from the serums yet there was nothing in the apartment we hadn't checked the room full of dead bodies. We walked down slowly while I had two arrows aimed on my bow, Bruce and I spectated around the room until we saw a bunch of the serums just sitting on the table so Bruce had taken three of the serums, each to test if they all had the same effects in them. As soon as we found the serums we went back into the main room and checked the mans jacket to see if we could find anything about him however all we found was a paper which had a poem written on it*

'Solomon Grundy, Born on a Monday, Christened on Tuesday, Married on Wednesday, Took ill on Thursday, Worse on Friday, Died on Saturday, Buried on Sunday.'

Me: What stage is this guy on

*Before Bruce could answer we both heard footsteps coming up from the hall so we finally decided to leave the apartment yet we took the serums and the poem too*

*We went back to the League as I went into the bathroom, I closed and locked the door while I looked at myself on the mirror as I raised my shirt up to reveal the largely painful bruise that was caused during the fight, my hand pressured onto the bruise yet as I'd done so I groaned a bit and put boiling water on the bruise, my hands turned to a fist from the sharp pain I begun to feel but I had put more of the hot water onto the bruise however lastly I put a special conditional cream which I speed around the bruise for it ease the pain, I lowered my shirt and went out normally*
