In Your Arms Again

-Chapter 17-

Stella's POV

I woke up early the other day. Actually, I didn't much have sleep after the conversation I had with Eric and it's not even a conversation between me and him it's an interview for god's sake.

I just realized that I still have feelings for him but I don't want to forget the things he said to me three years ago. It's still hurt that he didn't bother to know the truth.

I'm still sipping from my coffee when Nikki came out from her room. She put her hair in a bun while walking towards me.

"Good morning." I said and she greet me back. She went to the fridge and get the cartoon of the fresh milk.

"You wanna talk about it?" She said while sipping on her milk. I looked at her for a moment.

"Talk about what?" I fake a smile and hoping to get away with this.

"Stel, I know you. When you came home last night I know there's something wrong. Is it about him?"

"Nik.. I still.. I still have the feelings for him like I have three years ago." I said almost whispering. I'm afraid to admit it.

"I know. There's something I want to tell you Stel. Since, we are talking about Erick here. You know, he keeps on calling me way back then, asking where you've been and he wants to talk to you." Nikki stare at me looking for any reaction. But, I just looked at my coffee instead.

"I don't know what to do to him for now, Nik. All I want is a best life I could give to my daughter. It's all about her right now." I said to her. Nikki grab my hand.

"I know and I will always be here for you and the little one."

"Thank you Nik.."

"Want to go in the mall right now? Let's get Erica a new dress." She said excitedly.

"Dress again? Why don't we take her to the playground instead?"

"I think that one is the best. I'll go call Brooke. We need a driver." She then ran to her room. I laughed and went to check Erica in our room.

She's still sleeping so I take that as a chance to take a shower. I will just go directly to the office later.

After an hour or two we are now heading to the mall and when we get there we went directly to the children's playground. Erica is very happy she's bouncing up and down. She keeps on pointing on things inside the area.

I paid for her entrance and watched as she carefully walked to the ground that full of balloons. She then laughed on her own and started to throw the balloons in the air. I love seeing her like that it makes my day.

"Stella, I think I saw some SALES there. I need to checked it out, okay?"

"You want me come with you?" Brooke said

"No, No you stay here. I will be quick." She then run off. She's addicted on SALES lately.

"Thank you for coming with us today Brooke."

"No problem Stel. You know I will always make time for the little peanut." He said smiling

"Don't call her that." I laughed "but that's cute though."
