I turned on my stomach, shifting comfortably, wrapping the olive green colored sheets around me tightly. My eyes fluttered open at the sight of the sun shining through the window.
I looked around the room and the realization that I had not slept in my own bed hit me hard, causing me a smile to creep onto my face.
I heard a faint knock on the door and a couple of footsteps, making me shoot into an upright position. I quickly grabbed the cover and clutched it tightly to my chest.
"Oh, uh, sorry," I heard a husky, raspy voice say, and when I looked, my breathe hitched at the sight of a very drowsy Jasper, "I probably should've waited your answer before coming in."
His voice was rough, as if he had just woken up. It sounded so beautiful; it was a melody to my ears.
"Oh, uh, yeah, just turn around for, like, half a second," my face had clearly been red, since I felt all the blood in me rush up to my cheeks. He turned on his heel, chuckling in the process as I grabbed my shirt and pulled it over my head, since I was only wearing a spaghetti strap underneath.
He stood there with his back to me, and I could faintly hear him hum the tune of a Paramore song.
I smiled to myself, and started to hum along, which earned me a deep and hearty chuckle from Jasper. He turned his head to face me and I scoffed, "I didn't say turn around. What if I was still changing?"
He sauntered into the room and placed the tray of food on the edge of the soft bed, and for a second I was afraid I'll make a wrong move and result in it falling onto the ground.
He flashed me a smirk, "But you're not," he turned and grabbed a piece of bacon that was on the tray, snapping a small bite from it before offering me some, "So it's all good."
I playfully yet roughly grabbed the strip of meat from his hands, only to gently place it into my mouth and have the wonderful taste fill me up.
Damn, he can make some good bacon.
It took all I had not to moan at the mouth-watering taste, and not to shove the rest of them into my mouth as well.
Jasper gave me a knowing look; his eyebrows raised and a smiling starting to form on his lips. I couldn't help but smile back, it was contagious.
"You know, if you want more, go for it. I mean, it is for-woah," he chuckled as I swooped across the bed and grabbed a couple more and starting to chow down.
I gave him a small smile and I recieved a hearty laugh in return. I playfully swatted his shoulder, "Stop laughing at me, I'm hungry," I groaned, feeling my cheeks go red.
"I know," he continued to burst into fits of laughter, "You almost threw me of the bed just for a piece of meat."
Now I know my cheeks were red, and I don't know what went through my head when I decided pushing him onto the floor was the best comeback.
I slowly leaned over, my eyes wandering to Jasper who was laying face first on the ground. He looked up, and when his beautiful blue eyes met mine, I shrugged while taking another bite, "Whoops."
"I'll show you 'Whoops'!" I heard him mumble before charging at me, and I immediately feel his arms at my sides, tickling me like there was no tomorrow.
My laughter filled the room, along with my complaints, "Jasper! St-stop it! I can't-can't breath!" I managed to get out between my fits of laughter.
