*Harriet's P.O.V*
I ran upstairs and sat on my bed just thinking about Kian. After putting on some music, I closed my eyes and fell asleep.
I woke up about ten minutes later and realized that i was still soaking wet so I quickly ran into the bathroom and hopped in the shower. The song Everybody Talks by Neon Trees started playing and i started singing. Makeup was running all down my face so the reflection in the mirror made me laugh. I wiped off the old makeup and wrapped a towel around my body. I walked back into my room, still singing along to the music when I realized that I wasnt alone. Kian has managed to come in and was sitting on my bed. Suddenly, I became really semiconscious and realized that my towel was rather short. Screaming and running back into the bathroom was my first reaction. "Nice singing!" Kian shouted, laughing at his own joke. I blushed. "Kian grab me some clothes!" I shouted back. A few minutes later a hand poked around the door holding this outfit in it. It was my favorite outfit so I got changed quickly, put on some makeup and did my hair into a braid. When I walked out of the bathroom Kian looked at me and smile. "Turn around and close your eyes" he said. I didn't even question it. I felt him fiddle with my hair and then walk me towards the mirror. "Okay open your eyes." he said with another smile. I open them and gasped. I saw that he had put flowers in my hair. "Oh my gosh Kian!"
"I guess you like it then. I picked them on the way over. They were pretty so they reminded me of you." He said with another cheesy smile. I blushed and turned around and threw my arms around his neck and into a tight hug. He hugged me back even tighter. "Okay we better go now. Come on." He said leading me towards the door. I was so happy.
*Kian's P.O.V*
Harriet looked beautiful in her dress. When she walked out if that bathroom she took my breath away. I am honestly really falling for her. We walked down the stairs and out of her house and back down to the beach. The sun was starting to set and in the distance we could see a bonfire surrounded by a small group of people. I guessed that it was Sam and the gang and walked Harriet over to them. I turned to look at Harriet's face in the sunset and noticed that she was already looking at me. She smiled at the ground and bit her lip. Gosh she was cute. My gaze was interrupted by Sam calling my name and running towards us. "YO KIAN! Where have you been all day?! We missed you!" then Sam turned his face to look at Harriet and his face broke into a smile. "Hey i'm Harriet. I just moved next door to Kian. Sorry he was with me today. We got a bit wet. Sorry." She said giggling. Her laugh was so cute. "Oh so you're the girl that he almost ran over yesterday then? haha no need to apologize. I'm Sam, come with me and ill introduce you!" and with that he took her hand and led her to the bonfire to meet the rest of the group. I'd be lieing to say that it didn't annoy me that he had gone off with her but I smile through it and followed behind them. During the night Harriet sat with Sam. It was obvious that he liked her. I pulled out my phone to check my messages to see that I had a reply from Acacia (the girl that commented on the video)
"Hey, i'm going to be at San Clemente beach today. Do you want to meet up? :)x"
I wrote back "I'm actually here at the moment with some friends, yeah sure ill meet you. Look for the bonfire! :) x"
And within minutes a blonde girl started walking over. "Kian!" she shouted. I looked around to see her walking up to me. I got up and went to meet her. I'm not going to lie, she was very pretty, but she was nothing compared to Harriet.
