*Kian's P.O.V*

I was so happy that Harriet said yes. I had the most beautiful girlfriend in the world. After seeing how JC acted around her, I just knew that he liked her. And I didn't like that. After chasing her around the garden and jumping into the pool with her, I held her in my arms. We were about chest deep in the water and she had her legs wrapped around my waist and her arms around my neck. I held my arms at her waist.

"You're beautiful Harriet, you know that right?"

"Hahaha, I wish, but thanks, that was really sweet!" she replied as she crashed her lips against mine.

She made me so happy. I know I hadn't known her for long but everything just seemed so right with her. Like it was meant to be. I'd never felt this way about a girl before. Moving my hand up to her face we both pulled away from the kiss and moved a strand of hair out of her face and tucked it behind her ear. Something distracted me and made me glance to the right of Harriet. JC was looking at us with a rather upset look on his face. Dude, seriously? She's my girlfriend, get over it.

"YO! Love birds, get outa the pool, the films about to start." We heard Sam yell from the kitchen.

Harriet hopped off of me and swam over to the stairs and slowly climbed over to them, letting her messy brown hair down at the same time. Wow. Just, WOW! I got distracted from my gaze by the chanting of my name, so I jumped out of the pool, and went into the kitchen where Sam was making popcorn.

"So, dude, you and Harri official now then?" He said, winking at me. I couldn't help but laugh. He always made me laugh.

"Yup, aren't I a lucky guy?" I noticed that a huge smile had spread across my face.

"Aw, but man, on a more serious note, don't hurt her. I do trust you, but after the way it ended with Amber last ti-" I cut him off.

"You know I wouldn't hurt her. What happened with Amber was a mistake. I didn't mean to cheat on her. I seriously thought that our argument had split us both us! I mean, you don't say 'I don't know if I feel the same way about you anymore' without ending it, do you?!" My tone had voice had risen. I felt betrayed, I mean, Sam was my best friend, he should believe me!

"Man chill out! I know, Its just, Harriet means the world to me, shes my best mate and I don't want to her to get hurt. I know you wont hurt her. Anyway, did you wanna sleepover tonight? I think Harriet and JC are as well."

I was quite annoyed by this point. I would never hurt Harriet. She was the best thing that had ever happened to me. I grabbed the bole of popcorn off of the counter and mumbled "Sure." The film had already started. I could hear it as I walked up the stairs to Sam's room, knowing full well that

Harriet would probably be hidden underneath the duvet. She hated scary films. The sight I saw made me drop the popcorn all over the floor. I mean, I was angry enough as it was, and seeing my girlfriend was the one thing I thought would cheer me up. But no. Harriet was sitting on the bed, which was opposite to the tv, with her face just inches away from JC's face, staring into each other's eyes. Was she about to kiss him? My heart sank. The crash of the bowl made them both jump and look at me. I was frozen.

"Hey Kian, I jus-" I cut her off.

"You was just about to kiss him!" I errupted. "I'm not stupid!" and with that I jumped down the stairs and sprinted home. When I arrived home, I ran up to my room and collapsed onto my bed. How could she do this to me? Why? I hung my head in my hands and ran them through my hair, just staring at the floor. My phone bleeped.

Harriet - "Hey babe, I promise you I wasn't about to kiss him, I had something in my eye and was asking him to take a look. I couldn't get it out and now my eyes swollen. I can't see a thing! Please believe me, I wouldn't cheat on you Kian."

Pha, all lies. I the typed back

"Harriet don't lie to me, I hate liars, maybe we just shouldn't of started dating. It's obviously not what you wanted. Bye." and with that I laid back onto my bed and closed my eyes.
