Chapter 6

   "Daddy, where are we going?" I asked. Daddy looked down at me. "We are going to a friend of mine." Said daddy. We finally pulled to a stop. It was a ok house. It wasn't too big or too small. Daddy got out and picked me up. He also grabbed the bags. Me with one arm and the bags with the other. Daddy's very strong. Me and daddy were in front of the door. "Knock for me please." Asked daddy. I nodded and knocked the door. Minutes later the door opened with a man with white hair pulled back into a ponytail like daddy's. He has red eyes with scars across his face. He was wearing a black tang top with blue jeans with a white cape. "Hallo Matt." Mumbled the man. "Hey Gillian." Said daddy. What seems to be Gillian turned to me. "Who's zhiz?" Asked Gillian. "That's my um...daughter..." said daddy. I waved at Gillian. Gillian waved back and opened the door wide enough for me and daddy to come in. Me and daddy went right in. Daddy plopped me on a couch. "Just set ze bags in ze guest room." Said Gillian. Daddy nodded and went to a room. Gillian sat on the couch across from me. I looked at Gillian head to toe and I noticed he's wearing a cross. "Whoa...pretty." I said as I eyed down on Gillian's necklace. Gillian chuckled. "Ja, mien bruder gave it to me." Said Gillian as he clutched on the cross. I tilted my head. I can't understand his accent. "Huh?" I asked. Gillian chuckled again. Daddy came back and I got excited. "Daddy!" I squealed as I reached out for him. Daddy placed me in his lap and I lay on him. "Jou never told me jou had a kid." Said Gillian. "I didn't know I had one either. She just appeared in my door step with a note on her back." Said daddy as he took out the note and gave it to Gillian. I never knew what it said. Gillian's eyes got wide. "What does it say...?" I asked. Gillian looked at daddy and daddy shook his head no. Gillian nodded and looked at me. "Notzing important." Said Gillian as he gave back the note to daddy. Daddy placed the note back in his pocket. "So, vhat happened between jou and Al zhiz time?" Asked Gillian. Daddy's face harden at the name of Al. "He attacked my maple." Said daddy as he patted my back. "Zhat's horrible." Said Gillian. "She was crying her eyes out, good thing I came before that bastard hurt my kid." Daddy said as he clutched his fist. He also gritted his teeth and he seemed to be mad. I rubbed his arm making him calm. Daddy calmed. "Good zing jou have ver to calm jou." Chuckled Gillian. Daddy also chuckled as he patted my head. I smiled and I lay on daddy. I yawned and within minutes I fell asleep.
