Chapter 12

   I woke up to a sizzling sound. I opened one eye and I see daddy cooking. I get up and rubbed my eyes. "Morning Abs, I made pancakes." Said daddy. My eyes sparkled. "Pancakes!!" I shouted as I ran to the table. Daddy put a finger on his lips. "Bitch queen is sleeping, we don't want to take her up." Said daddy. "Who's bitch Queen?" I asked. Daddy tried holding in a laugh. He then bursted out laughing. I tilt my head. "What's so funny?" I asked. "Kaita's bitch Queen." Said daddy once he calmed down. I made a 'oh' shape with my mouth. Daddy chuckled and placed down pancakes on my plate and gave it to me. Once they were placed in front of me I gobbled on them. Kaita walked down stairs. She was wearing a robe with fluffy black feathers on the ends. She wrapped her arms around daddy with her shoulders hanging. "Maybe later we can have fun." Whispered Kaita in daddy's ear. Daddy turned and put a plate of pancakes in front of Kaita, making her back up. "I made you pancakes." Said daddy. "Hmph!" Said Kaita as she took the pancakes and sat across from me. I finished my pancakes and I go to my daddy for more. "More daddy! More!" I asked with stars in my eyes. Daddy chuckled and placed more down. "Thank you daddy!" I said as I ran to the table. I ate my pancakes. Daddy sat down next to me. Kaita tsked. "Fat ass." Mumbled Kaita. Daddy looked up at Kaita looking mad. "If you call Abby one more thing, I will talk through that door." Growled daddy. Kaita rolled her eyes and ate. "Just what I thought." Said daddy as he began to eat. I finished and I was all full. I got my plate and put it in the sink. I sat on the couch. Daddy and Kaita finished. Daddy sat next to me and Kaita sat next to daddy. Kaita leaned on daddy and daddy put an arm around Kaita. I laid my head on daddy's lap. Daddy smiled and patted my head. When ever I'm with daddy, he seems to be smiling for real. He's slowly coming together like a puzzle piece. Daddy looked at the time. "I gotta go." Said daddy as he got up. I lifted my head but Kaita just fell her head on the couch. Daddy went upstairs and came back down with a hockey stick. I ran to daddy hand hugged him. "I love you daddy!" I said. Daddy looked down at me and smiled. "I love you too Abs." Said daddy as he left. Kaita turned to me and glared. She got up and stomped to me. I ran for it, not wanting Kaita to catch me. I screamed as I ran. Once Kaita finally caught me she picked me up with her hand on my neck choking me. "You selfish brat, why the hell would Matt bother with you?!" Shouted Kaita. I couldn't breath. My hands rubbed her arms, trying to calm down. Kaita tighten her grip. "You remind me of your mother! Did you know that she died? Once I found that out happiness swept over me!" Grinned Kaita. My life flash before my eyes. Suddenly, Kaita dropped me.
