We had brought the leviathan back to Bobby's, so he could run some tests on him. Bobby was only really able to figure out that his name was Chet and that pretty much every known weapon against monsters did not kill him.

I had been upstairs with Sam and Dean for a while when they decided to go down and check-in with Nate and Bobby. A few minutes later, Nate walked upstairs, sprayed with black blood across his chest and face. He walked down the hallway toward his new room. I decided to follow after, and when I walked into the room, he had his shirt off and was wiping his face before throwing a new shirt on.

"Hey," He said, kind of surprised.

"Hey, um..." I walked over to his bed and sat down, "Look..." I sighed, "I just want to tell you how sorry I am for literally everything I've put you through lately."

He smiled, "Where is this coming from?"

I shrugged, "I just realized how much I suck."

He sat down next to me and looked at me very seriously, "Yeah, you do kinda suck," He smirked.

I smacked him in the arm lightly and chuckled, "No, seriously," I shook my head, "I think I was just trying to avoid actually talking about everything that happened to me. I just wanted it all to go away, and I wanted everyone to stop looking at me like I was a sad, lost puppy. I never should've put that all on you."

He nodded, "I understand," He looked at me for a moment, "You aren't tainted by the way."

"What?" I asked.

"That day... You walked away, saying you must be tainted," Nate shook his head, "You're not, you aren't broken. There's nothing wrong with you, you just went through some crap," He sighed, "Uh, Dean told me what happened."

I rolled my eyes, "Of course, he did."

"Well, it was after I told him I was worried about you," He said.

I nodded and laughed, "Yeah, still not cool, but we're past it."

"Right," He laughed, "He just wanted me to understand," He shrugged, "He actually told me to give you space."

"He did?" I asked.

He nodded, "Yeah. He said, if I didn't want to push you away, I needed to. So, when you stopped talking to me..." He shrugged, "I figured I wouldn't keep bugging you."

"Thanks," I stared at him for a moment, "Can I be honest?"

Nate nodded, "Obviously."

"As much as I didn't want to talk to you, I seriously missed you," I smirked.

He chuckled, "Of course you did, 'cause I'm friggin' adorable."

"Ew, stop," I put my hand on his forehead and pushed him away.

"What?" He laughed.

"That sounded like something Dean would say," I fake gagged, "Annoying."

"Annoying?" He laughed, "Really?"

I smirked, "A little," I spotted some goo on his cheek, "You've got a little..." I wiped it away and left my hand on his cheek for a moment and then pulled away.

He leaned in, put his hand on my cheek, and pulled me in for a kiss.

"Guys!" Dean called from the other room, causing us to jump.

We stood up and walked toward the door, but he stopped me to give me one last kiss before we left. When we walked out into the living room, Bobby, Sam, and Dean were all standing around the TV.
