Part 5 - Going Away

Didn't really know where i was going with this chapter so its more of a filler chapter sorry if its rubbish! X

Over the coming months Ant and Decs relationship went from strength to strength. Ant carried on with his studies and soon finished the year and was defiantly ready for some time off. Dec on the other hand was stressed with work and was not looking forward to going away yet again leaving Ant behind. "I hate leaving you here alone" he looked at the younger man who was sat on the bed watching Dec pack his stuff. "I hate it too but its your job so I understand" he looked at Dec. "I don't know what I did to deserve you, I've been so snappy lately and your still here" Dec placed the last few things in his suitcase and sat down next to Ant. "Because i understand how stressful it can be when you have a crap tonne of work to be doing, I'm a medical student remember!" Ant laughed. Dec was going to be gone for most of the month and deep down he was hating the fact he wasn't going to see him. They made their way down to Decs car and said teary goodbyes before he left for the airport.

Ant walked back to his flat with a sad look on his face. As he walked in he was met by Ben and few of the other students that lived in the building. "Hey Ant didn't expect to see you today, not with lover boy?" Ben laughed as he walked through the door. "Shut up Ben he's gone away on business again so leave it out will ya" he moaned before slamming into his bedroom. "What does this guy do exactly? He's always away on 'business'" one of the female students asked. "I dunno some sort of computer, data, programming thing I'm not sure but he is a good looking chap and has a tonne of money" Ben explained to the others who were sat around listening. "You got any pictures?" She asked wanting to know all about this guy. "Nah I don't Ant probably does ask him its his boyfriend" Ben waved the girl away. Just then Ant walked out of his room pulling a suitcase behind him. "What you doing Ant?" Ben asked looking over at his room mate. "I'm going to America, i cant sit here waiting for 3 weeks i have to see Declan" he said lugging his things behind him. "But we're suppose to be going away next week! pub crawl through Amsterdam! It's all been paid for!" His roommate exclaimed. "I don't care Ben I'd rather be with Declan" Ant shouted back as he looked through the draws for his passport. "Ohh I guess lover boys paying for this all is he?" Ben shouted back. He had been looking forward to their trip for weeks and now Ant wasn't going. "No! Ben i am if you haven't forgotten i have a job unlike some people who just sponge off their parents!" Ant retaliated whilst slamming every draw possible.
"There its is!" Ant smiled as he found the hidden passport. "Just because my parents are still alive!" The younger man shouted but stopped as he realised what he had just said. "Your unbearable sometimes mate, see you in September" Ant looked angrily at Ben before leaving the flat with a bang. "I cant believe you said that" the girl looked gobsmacked at her friends remark. "I'm such a dick" Ben screamed angrily. "I really wanted to to Amsterdam" he looked sadly at his friends. "I know Hun but you cant stop Ant from loving someone these things happen" she smiled at him before pulling him into a hug.

Ant made his way through the airport finding the right gate before settling down to wait for his flight. The flight went smoothly with only a few screaming kids on their summer holidays annoying him. They landed in New York and he got in a cab giving them the address to Decs apartment he had rented out for his stay. He made his way up the stairs to Decs apartment finally reaching it a little out of breathe with it being on the top floor. "What building doesn't have an elevator these days" Ant puffed. He knocked the door and it swung open. "Anthony!" Dec looked surprised. "What are you doing here?" He asked bringing him in for a tight hug. "I couldn't wait 3 weeks i needed to be with you" Ant smiled kissing Decs lips gently. "I love you" he blurted out as he released his lips from Decs. They hadn't said those 3 words before and Dec just looked at Ant for a few seconds. "I love you too Anth" he smiled before leaning back in to kiss him. "Right okay but i have a meeting in about 30 minutes so need to leave sorry babe" Dec looked down at his watch before straightening his tie and jacket. "It shouldn't be too long and then we can go for dinner" he smiled up at Ant before leaving him alone. Ant looked around the apartment it was an old building and it was decorated with antiques. He sat down on the old sofa and smiled to himself. This was going to be a good month he thought to himself.
