Riley P.O.V
Today was the Christmas party and I was pretty record up about seeing Maya and how awkward it would be.
Once we arrived we saw everybody was inside. Me and Lucas took the twins in my parents house and saw mom and dad.
"Riley!!" Mom shouted as she came to hug me. She pulled back and smiled at the twins that I sat on the chair. I saw lucas disappear over to Farkle, Nathan, and Zay.
I walked over to Avery table where Maya and Cassidy was. "Hey guys." I said trying not to be awkward.
Avery got up and hugged me and "Hey Riley." She said I could she was looking for the twins because she always was close to them and they were close to her.
"The twins are over their with mom." I said nodding my head over to mom and the twins. She nodded and speed walked over there.
"She has been looking for them every since she got here......you don't mind if I..." I cut her off nodding my head.
"Yeah go head." I said as I was talking about the twins. She left smiling at meas the awkwardness took over me and Maya so I at least tried to make and conversation.
"So maya how is work now and days." I say smiling at her. She smiled back twirling her fingers.
"Oh it good." She say awkwardly which doesn't help. I can't take this anymore its time to got to the bottom of this.
I sigh running my hands through my hair which really doesn't mess up my brown with amber high lights cause it's all down.
"Maya why have you been so awkward lately?" I asked her. It was now time to get to the bottom of this.
She sighed "I think its best you know this outside." OK now I'm really worried nothing he this important unless this is some real tough shit.
We mayed it outside with only us out there. I turned to maya "So what is going?" I asked her her with not a lot of patience. I know its really rude but this is how I feel.
She sighed once again "Riley what's going on is......."
