you want to go to the home tab once you're done with editing on superimpose and save the cover by going to home tab and pressing the arrow going to the right in a box right at the top (where I showed you where to save masks)
You should see this and you want to press photos underneath the export destination so that it's saved to your camera roll

Now, you want to go the VSCO where you'll open up your pictures and toggle with the filters until you're happy. I'm not going to show this part because a lot of people use different filters and it's not really part of the cover tutorial as it's not essential to making the cover itself and everyone knows how to change filters.
You don't have to use an app, you can just change the filter using the in iPhone settings in the camera roll (as shown right at the start) and this will work perfectly fine but I tweaked mine a bit until I was happy with how it looked.
I then went into Phonto (if Phonto seems a little intimidating with how many fonts there are, Rookie is another great app which is a lot more new user friendly in my opinion so you can use that!)
But I added my font and my cover soon looked like this

I really hope this impromptu tutorial helped a lot of readers who constantly ask how my covers are made, not all of my covers are this complicated. Some are just a few pictures put together, but I always use this method with the apps I use.
