That Mistake

Hey guys...just so you know, I will NEVER discontinue this story until the end. This is also a Christmas special so it will be about, 1300- 2000 words. Let's actually see if I post this on December 25. I'm trying to break my checkpoint.

So, well, let's get on to the story!

Elena left the house, everyone is just starting to wake up, at their own homes.

Yawn! Well, at least I don't have Mike to bother me in the mornings. I starred at the ceiling.
You know what, maybe I'll go and visit Mike.
Today is his 8th birthday.
I got off my bed and went to the kitchen to get some breakfast.
Hey bae. I said as I saw him in the kitchen, and gave him a peck on the lips.
Hey baby. Whatcha' making?
Eggs, Bacon, Sausage, French toast, Nutella pancakes- wait. DID YOU SAY NUTELLA PANCAKES!?

This is not part of this. I'm sorry.
EGGS, BACON, GRITS, SAUSAGE!

Lena, your going to wake up the kids. He whispered to me.

Aww. He is so cute!

Dantè chuckled.
Mooommmmyyy. Did you say Nutella pancakes? Kiiara said rubbing her eyes. Umm...I'm not sharing!
I took the plate of pancakes and ran in the living room, jumped on the couch, and started eating the pancakes. Mommy, you need to share. Kiiara said jumping on the couch too. Hey, get off!
Kiiara stole one of my pancakes when I was eating my other one. HEY! Haha! She ran in her room and shut the door.
Ugh. Whatever. I got off the couch and into the kitchen again.
Ok, what I wanted to tell you is that it's Mikes 8th birthday today.
Really? My nephew is eight! He had that big smile. It's so cute❤️
When do you want to visit?
In about 3 hours, I need to get my hair done, makeup, get the kids dressed. Ok. Great. Can you go wake up Maxwell, and tell Kiiara to brush her teeth and come eat? Yeah.
I walked out, then went to Maxwells room.
Come on baby. I said as I carefully picked him up.
It's time to eat.
I carried him to his booster chair and got his baby food from the cabinet.
Then I went to Kiiara's room. Kiiara, go upstairs and brush your teeth. It's time to eat breakfast.
Ok mommy. She ran upstairs singing "I love Nutella pancakes, I love them so much. You love them, I love them, WE ALL LOVE THEM!"
Kiiaras is such a cutie pie. I said as I smiled.
I put Kiiaras breakfast on the table, and pulled a chair next to Maxwells booster chair, to feed him.
After awhile, kiiara came downstairs to eat.
Thanks for the breakfast baby.
Yeah! Thank you!

By this time, the whole family took a shower, got ready, and is now in Elena's, parents house, sitting on the couch talking.

So... I said awkwardly. I'm going to go upstairs to get Mike. I told my dad. I mouthed him "are you going to be okay?" He said yea.
I went upstairs to find Mike playing his PS4, GTA.
Hey birthday boy. I said standing next to the door with balloons.
LENA! I haven't seen you in weeks!
I know, I missed you. I said.
Do you wanna play GTA?
I said sure, and that's what we did for his birthday.
He was okay with it. He actually didn't even care.

By the end of the day, about 8 o'clock, I remembered about that book incident when I was about 18 I think. When the book shattered...
I went to that bookshelf again. The book was normal, it was there again?! But how? Like, 3 years ago me and Danté checked the grand library and the other library's except...! Wait. Naw, nothing.
I went back downstairs to go and comfort Danté before he spills something secret. Not that I don't trust him.

I sat down again next to Danté, and put my hand on his lap. He looked at me and smiled.
So, dad. Where is Jackson?
"He's out doing family business."
What family business?
"..."
He said nothing. Maybe I shouldn't have said that...
But I need to know what family business. We have none.
"Well, I think it's time for you guys to go."
He hurried us outside, I didn't even get to say bye to my lil bro.

Me and Danté got in the car.
He's hiding something. I know it.

Dads POV

Hey Jackson?
"Yes dad."
She's on to us, again. We need to do something. Now.
"Dad. Even though she is an enemy, she's still my sister, and your daughter. What are we supposed to do?"
Son. I really don't know. But we can't leave her alone. She knows something that no one can know.
"Ok. Bye? Dad I really need to take care of some business now. Someone just betrayed Allen, and you know Allens temper. He's not afraid to kill. That someone is gonna end up like mom. I'm still mad at you about that."
Son, I had to. It was for the best. She knew to much.
"Ugh, yeah. Whatever dad. Bye."

Elenas POV

Danté. How bout' we go and check out that book. Hopefully, the library still has it.
Yeah, this time let's try to read the whole thing.
Umm, you think I can do that? I never liked reading in elementary, middle, or high school. What makes you think I like it now?
I don't know.

              We both arrive at the Grand Library

So, after all these years do you remember where the book was placed? Said Danté.
Nope. Let's just look around again. That librarian isn't here anymore though.
Ok. I'll stick to the front of the library. You go to the back. Ok?
Alright. I said as I speed walked to the back of the room.

Ugh. I said. It's been almost an hour and we found nothing. I'm going to check if Danté found something. I gave up.

Wait. Hold up. DANTÉ! I FOUND IT!
SHHHHHHHH!
Oh shush yourselves.
I picked the book up, and ran towards him.
Look! I found it!
"THE POWER OF MEN- MAGIC EDITION."
Yessss. He said exhausted. I've gotten so bored and tired, that I was actually thinking of sleeping on that couch. He said pointing to it. But someone took it.
Aww. I said as I giggled. Let's go check this out.

WE ARE AT OUR HOUSE.
Also, if you were wondering where the kids were, they got dropped of at the house before they went to the library, because Tanya wanted to take care of them.

Ok. I said as I opened the door.
MOMMY! MWOMMMY! Know Kiiara and Maxwell said. Maxwell fell as he ran to me. Like always.
Hey. What about me? Danté said.
DADDY! DWADDY! They both said again running to Danté giving him hugs.
Ok. You guys go play. Me and Danté are going to go upstairs.
Ok mommy. Come on Maxwell. Let's play legos. Kiiara said pulling Maxwell to where all the toys are at.
Ok. Now that we have our time, let's go and read this book. I said heading to the stairs.

Ok. I plopped myself right on the bed. Jackson sat down too.
Ok...Nooooo. I don't want to read. I said pouting.
If you help me read this, I'll make you Nutella cupcakes.
Why must you do this to me?

5 hours later

Danté, I give up. I'm going to sleep. Goodnight.

Hey guys so since this is a Christmas special, it's even longer than usual. But, I also won't be posting anytime because I'm spending my time with my family for Christmas Break. Also I broke my record of 1126 words! It was 1341 words this time!
