I sat with my legs hanging over the edge of a cliff, watching the sunset over the ocean. I close my eyes as I remember back to earlier that day.
I placed a small black box on the table. With Jasper's name written on it.
I hear rustling and turn to face the source of the noise. I find Jasper standing at the edge on the forest.
He holds up the present I gave him; the finished version of the journal he gave me for my eighteenth birthday.
"So you really do love me, as much as this expresses?" He smirks.
I grin, "yes, I do."
I stand up and walk over to him, "I love you more than you know. In fact I wrote this, so that we can never forget our own fairytale."
He smiles, "Fairytale?"
I nod, "yes, the story about how our true loves overcomes everything else."
"And our love will forever exist."
I nod.
"I love you Emily Mae Hale."
"I love you Jasper Hale."
We then kiss in front of the moon, as it glows behind us. A shooting star casually speeds pass and once again I feel the fireworks explode inside me, as our love electrocutes each of us.
