Mom

41 16 6

When my heart's unlit,
And agony clouds my soul,
There's a sudden beam of light,
Peeking through those clouds,
That seeps into my soul,
And expands to every part of my being,
Obscured and exposed.

When I'm lost,
In the sea called life,
My vision is illuminated,
The cause of which is the sole ray of light,
Emitted by the edifice,
Which stands tall and mighty; the lighthouse.

A/N:
Mom appreciation poem. This is an old one which explains why it looks a little untidy and incomplete but I really felt like updating.

Moving on, thank you so much for 1K+ reads. Much obliged :')
