chapter 7

~ Hanna's POV ~

I've been tied up for the past four hours. No sign of Kim or Nate or Matthew but Riley and Tanner knocked on the door this morning. They just left because I didn't answer and thought I was still asleep.

"Hanna?" I heard someone say while they knocked on the door. It wasn't Riley or Tanner it sounded like Matthew..? But surely he wouldn't come up here. I tried to say go away but all anyone could heard was mumbles.

I heard the sound of a key and in walked Matthew. He walked in and shut the door behind him.

"Well well well" he said smirking. I tried to untie my hands so I could get away but it didn't work.

"If only you would've been a good girl, this wouldn't of happened." He was almost on my bed with me.

"Stop squirming you whore, i just want to ask you a few questions." He said sitting beside me. He reached for the tape on my mouth and ripped it off.

"What do you want from me?!" I asked raising my voice.

"Hey now, I'm doing you a favor. If you can answer these questions for me you won't have to be in here as long."

"Fine ill answer your stupid questions." I said rolling my eyes.

He smiled. "Good, now why were you out of the house?"

"I don't see how this is any of your business but I went to get food for me and my brothers."

"Okay that was an easy one. Now where did you get the money?"

I hesitated before answering, "Again none of your business but a friend gave me some money for my birthday last month." I decided not to tell him the truth because it would just get me in more trouble.

"Hmm.. Okay final question," he suddenly got real serious, "how do you know Miss Katy Perry?"

What? Is he serious? How would I know her? "I.. I don't know her.."

"Lies!" He said getting up and yelling. "You know her and I want to know how." He got in my face and looked me in the eyes.

"I don't know her!" I screamed back at him. Not even a second later I felt a sharp pain in my stomach. But the pain didn't stop there. He kept pounding into me harder and harder.

"I'm gonna ask you one more time, how do you know Katy Perry?" He said stopping his actions and looking at me.

"I told you! I don't know her! She was just being a nice person because she thought I was in danger!" I screamed, tears in my eyes, trying to breathe.

He didn't like that answer so he slapped me. "I hope you like it here, because I'll make sure you never leave." Those were his final words before storming out and locking the door back.

I didn't know what just happened but I could barely breathe so that was the last thing on my mind. The room started getting dark and I felt like I was spinning and next thing I know the beating Matthew just gave me made me pass out with tears streaming down my cheeks.

~ Katy's POV ~

I woke up the next morning to the smell of pancakes. I stretched and looked outside. It was really pretty out. Maybe I should go for a jog this morning? I wonder if Shannon would want to go? I decided to get up and go see what she was up to.

I walked downstairs and saw Shannon with her headphones in singing Single Ladies by Beyoncé and dancing while making pancakes. I just laughed at her and grabbed a plate of pancakes.

"Hey! Pass the syrup!" I screamed at her making her jump. I laughed.

"Jesus Kate! Don't scare a woman while she's listening to Queen B," Shannon said laughin and passing me the syrup.

"Noted," I said. We both laughed an grabbed our pancakes and walked to the living room to watch the news.

"Suspicious 911 call to an alley beside McDonald's late last night"

I couldn't believe this! I completely forgot I called the cops on Matthew!

"The late night call was very mysterious. The person on the other end claimed there was a tall, dark man attempting to hurt a young, teenage girl. When authorities got there, there was no sign of a young girl but there was a dark figure running down the streets. Somehow he got away, some say he just vanished out of thin sight. No other word has been said about this but authorities are on the case." I muted the tv and looked at Shannon.

"Hanna!" I said starting to freak out. I got up and started pacing the room.

"Katy calm down! I'm sure she's fine! She's a strong girl!" Shannon said trying to get me to sit down.

"But what if she's not, Shannon?! She could be in serious danger out there with him!" I said raising my voice and sitting down. I put my face in my hands and tried to hold back my tears but it wasn't working. Shannon got up and sat beside me.

"Shhh it's gonna be okay. We will make sure she is okay. I promise." She said rubbing my back and giving me a hug. I couldn't hold it back anymore. Tears started pouring out of my eyes and I fell into Shannon's lap and tried to calm down.
