To be somewhere
Is all I care
Even if it neither here or there
To tear a way
Through the fabric of time
To parallel universes
Of parallel times
A step in each of them
Neither here or there
But somewhere.
A wish fulfilled
A kiss touched
Fleetingly by the chameleon of time
I changed forevermore
Lying on the parallel shores
A pale shadow of each
Reverberating echos in time
To merge into one they beseech
Half in half
Each other they bypass
Alternate universes they inhabit.
Somewhere in the tunnels of
parallel times
Each part of us lives on
A darkness or a brightness
Saints or sinners
Beautiful or ugly
Good or mean
Different or indifferent
Sensitive or cold
Afraid or bold
Many hues
neither there or here
But somewhere,
Living and breathing in different times.
Strange lives in strange times
Strung together
Across chasms of times
Unmindful of the other
Somewhere in time
Like twisted yarns
Close yet so far
Parallel universes we inhabit
In the twilight zone
Shadows of you and me
Somewhere inbetween.
