Shawn and I had just moved into our very own house and decided to paint the walls before we actually started unpacking. Since we couldn't find any white aprons or cloaks, we just stayed in plain clothing.
Midnight City was playing on the old radio that we had discovered connected to the house, so it added more entertainment throughout the whole painting.
My hair was tied into a messy bun and I was painting one of the living room walls purple, whilst Shawn was painting another a dark shade of blue.
After a few strokes of paint, I heard light footsteps coming towards me. I realised it was obviously Shawn, so I continued to keep painting.
He crouched behind me and started to run his hands on my arms. I looked over at him and from the corner of my eye, I could notice there was blue smothered all over my arms.
Noticing his game, I turned and quickly dipped my hands in paint, and then turned towards him, leaning towards Shawn so he wouldn't notice my purple hands.
'How 'bout a kiss?' He asked me, with his eyes half closed and a smug smile on his face.
I did the same and then placed my hands on his cheeks, making sure the purple was everywhere. 'Sure.' I leaned in and then placed my finger on his lips. 'Maybe not.'
I laughed and turned around quickly making sure to get more paint, before I stood up. Shawn stood up slowly trying to comprehend what I just did.
He finally looked at me and wiped his mouth. 'Y/N that was cruel!' I chuckled at him and smeared paint all off his hair.
'Sure it is, muffin.' He ran to his bucket of paint. Crap. He dipped his hands in and tried to throw some paint at me. I ducked and started laughing, realising we were now at war with paint.
I continued to do the same, and started throwing paint at him. He started laughing too and it was becoming much more fun. My clothes were starting to have more and more blue reappear on it, and Shawn was covered with purple.
I grabbed the bucket full of purple paint and made my way to Shawn, throwing more paint at him. He gasped, probably thinking I was going to pour all the paint on him, so he turned and grabbed his bucket.
I started running out of the living room. 'Shawn! No!' I was dying of laughter and Shawn's heavy footsteps could be heard following me.
I ran up the stairs and then heard a heavy noise behind me. I turned around and almost passed out from laughing. Shawn had fallen onto the stairs, drenched in blue. 'Not funny, Y/N!' He screamed at me, but I couldn't help it.
Mr Muffin was spread on the stairs, footsteps of blue following him. I continued to run but realised that Shawn was getting way too close, too fast.
He poured the remaining of his bucket over my hair and I squealed so loudly. I turned towards him and splashed him with purple. He chuckled and placed his strong hands on my waist, picking me up. I screamed in laughter and he chuckled as well. He spun me around and lowered me towards him, where I placed my hands around his neck.
He continued to spin, but because of the purple paint on the floor, Shawn managed to slip again, where we were both on the ground, with Shawn on top of me.
We both laughed hard and I hardly managed to spit out words. 'Second...time...Shawn!' He laughed hard and didn't take his hands off my face.
I grabbed the bucket of paint near me and poured the remaining purple on me and Shawn. He lowered himself and I lifted my neck slightly, meeting his soft but purple lips. He gave me a long kiss and then whispered towards me, 'how is it come that you came into my life and made it much better?'
I smiled and replied, 'because, Mr Purple, I love you.'
'I love you too.' He smiled and leaner in again.
I'm sorry this was crap, but I've got another imagine soon which I'm hoping will be long. Thank you all for 1.3K reads! It means so much! Also, I'm on holidays now so I'll have more time :)
