“My, it’s not polite you know, ignoring your host?”

Lady Parson stop from what she’s doing and faced him. “I’m sorry.” She said apologetically, not meaning it. “I didn’t see you there. You see, I’m busy working on some I misunderstood business of mine. So please…”

Sebastian sighed. “As I said earlier, I want you do something in favor for the young master?”

“And…” she paused, giving him a short glance. “What would be it?”

“Simple. Kill Grey.”

There was a flash of her memory. He knew Grey, Earl Grey. She’d been with him for a few times working at Her Majesty’s court. She knew that he was like the queens trusted advisor simultaneously her royal butler. Even though she migrated from North America to here to work business, Her Majesty especially him, welcomed her warmly. And once, only once she what it felt like to be betrayed…

There was silence. The next moment, figuring what would be the wise answer. At last, she look up. “And why is that?”she said, bearing no expression, trying to hide the hint of hurt in her eyes.

“Like before you didn’t care about politics. Besides, we’ve been working the dirty job for a long time. You know the young master. Didn’t stop until he gets what he wants.”

She stood up slow. Rising as gracefully and said to him. “For your information Sir Butler, I am the one who is doing the job.”

“And only the half.” He said, walking up to her with his stare. She stood there holding the back of the chair feeling his gaze.

“True but still…” he felt his face over her shoulder. It was warm even though he appeared cold-hearted. But still.“It’s still the business I’m worried about.” The Lady knew, by the he’s acting, that the method closest to seducing is his way of persuasion.

“So…?”

This is the last thing of this job I’d do by the least. She swore.

“I’m in.”
