All this was around 20 years ago. Nico stayed and many adventures and stories followed us. After that my life changed drastically, my friends left saying they could never trust a fox and fell out with me for defending him. Nico I would like to say was fine but unfortunately many people did what the usually did and ignored him for being a fox - except of course me. However together none of that mattered as we had each other to rely on.

Eventually after around a year of him flirting and me blushing, we finally got together. Needless to say we were warned by my parents that if so much as a toe was in each other room after 10 pm then there would be hell to pay. Although nothing ever happened in our rooms, the same cant be said about the hotels or "friends houses" we stayed at.

A year after that Nico had saved up almost enough money from the various small jobs that he could actually get as a fox, and bought himself a small apartment about 15 minutes from my house with some assistance from my parents who helped pay. Soon after he managed to get a job in an office related to business plans as foxes were exactly what the firm was looking for due to their intelligence and cunning - in order to help further their profits. Once I reached 18, with my parents blessing, I moved into his apartment and we were happy. In April the following year he proposed and of course I said "yes". The following July was the actual wedding and my brother was Nico's best-man (Nico had long since one him over).

Of course every now and then his cunning nature was obvious, as he kissed me in order to steal a biscuit of some sort. Even through his mischief i fell more and more in love with him every day we spent together, and now 20 years later we have a beautiful son called Jacob, who is so much like his father that it makes me laugh. Today is Jacobs testing day, which is the main reason for my recollection. However where Nico's parents failed, we have made certain Jacob knows no matter what his Scarv is, he will always be welcome at home.
