Eva POV

*knock knock*

..................

*knock knock*

What is this annoying ass noise so early in the morning? I thought as I groggily opened my eyes. I looked at clock on my bedside table and it read '5:00 am' Fucking hell.

My eyes scanned the room to identify the noise. But instead I found a shadow outside the window. My reflexes kicked in as I grabbed the baseball bat I kept in my room after watching The Conjuring. I hate horror movies.

I trudged towards the window and slowly opened it, immediately swinging my bat back, ready to bash this idiot. As the bat neared the douches face, he blocked it and screamed in a whisper, "What the hell Mohn!"

Only one person called me by my last name.

I stepped back in disbelief, shaking my head at Chris Schistad as I whispered harshly "Schistad what the hell are you doing here at this time?" Ignoring my question, he stepped in and dusted his pants, looking around my room. I narrowed my eyes at him, waiting for an answer. Ass. He saw my face and sighed, "My parents kicked me out because this is the fourth girl I've brought home this week... so they were like 'this is not the son we raised and shit' so... yeah"

"And you expect me to give a shit?" I laughed dryly. "No fucking way Chris. Get out!"

"Look I'll just be here till morning, then I'll climb back out and leave... you'll wake up and it'll feel like I was never here," he said. "Please?" he asked weakly. I almost said yes until I remembered what he had done. You can't help him Eva, you know better than to help this traitor.

I averted my eyes because of how bad I felt. Swallowing the lump in my throat I looked back at him. I rolled my eyes, looked at him and said coldly, "Get out. Now!" He looked taken aback. I studied his face and he looked hurt? Clearly I've misunderstood. He ran his fingers through his hair and he reached for something inside his pockets. He growled and looked at me "Sorry but could I use your phone?"

"Ugh, sure" I replied, handing him my phone impatiently. As he dialed a number, I realized that I never unlocked my phone for him.

I didn't know what to say. How did he remember my password after all these years?

"Hello. William? It's Chris. Bro, can you pick me up? Yeah I got kicked out again." He said as he spoke with William.

Again? If he's been kicked out before why come to me this time?

"Okay cool. Yeah I'm standing out. " And he cut the line. He gave me my phone and walked towards the window. As he climbed out he turned back towards me and said, "See you around Mohn." He swung out of the window with so much ease and he disappeared. I ran towards the window and looked down to find him landed safely. I released a breath I didn't know I was holding.

Why do you still care Eva?

I woke up because of my buzzing phone. Who the heck is calling me now? It's only 8 in the morning. Taking my phone I looked at the time. Whoops, not 8. I've never woken up at 12 pm before. 'You lame ass it's not that rebellious.' My inner me can be so discouraging. I ignored her as I picked up the phone.

"EVA KVIIG MOHN! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN!" shouted Noora, my best friend. I rolled my eyes and replied, "Calm down Noora, I just woke up." There was silence for a while before she asked in disbelief, "You slept till this late? No way. No fucking way." I chuckled and said, "I know right? I'm as shocked as you are."

"Anyways I called to tell you that I'm reaching your house in five minutes. So make sure there's food." And she hung up. Noora you hog.

After I brushed and took a shower me and Noora were sitting in my living room, on our phones.

Very social, I know.

Well I was still wondering why I woke up so late.

Oh wait. Chris.

Now I remember. Being waken up 2 times because of the dumbass that is Chris Schistad. One more week left of summer vacations and then I'll have to see his face at school. Every. Single. Day. I scrolled through my phone in attempts to forget about Chris.
