Marie's Pov

Beep.Beep.Beep
I jolted awake and quickly slammed my palm on the snooze button of my alarm clock.
Then drifted away to Slumber Land once more after my layed my head gently on my pillow.
But I suddenly am rudely awakened once again by my foolish younger brother Maxamillion  banging on my door yelling," Get your lazy bum up before I get the hose out back Marie", with playfully banner.
Unlike most brothers and sisters me and my brother can good around and have fun, even with the 8 year difference.
"OkayDonkie", I yell but with the pillow on my face it comes out muffled.
"Arta Chokie, I'm really not getting any younger here", he say in a 'matter- of- fact' tone.
I laugh and get up with the attached to my waist,go into the restroom, and do my business.
~15 MINUTES LATER~
I run out of my room and jump on my 9 year old brother, who immediately falls to the ground and groan in pain due to my weight.
"Get off of me please and lose a couple of pounds would ya", he says with a few grunts and I playfully slap his back.
But I get off..eventually and grabb the cereal, milk, and bowls," Max get the bananas okay?", I said already fixing the bowls.
He grabbs them from the fridge and jumps on the counter peeling them.
I pass him his bowl while he passed me my banana I cut it up and eat away, not like a lady should, while he says," At least act like a girl for once ".
I stick my tongue out him and he mimics this until we here a grunt and broken glass being shattered.
A few seconds later we see out one and only mother who is probably already drunk off her ass right now.
"Wassup kids hows it going ooonn", she slurs reaching for another beer in the cabinet.
"Mum stop it please this could effect your health", my brother said with deep worry in his eyes.
He runs up to her and hugs her petite waist but all she does is stare blankly at him, then smirks at him.
"Wanna try some", she say pulling his face close to the bottle.
I quickly run over and Rio him away from the human being I once called a mother who just laughs at my reaction.
" Why would you offer your on son this he's only 9 not even ten 10 yet", I said on the brink of tears because I miss my mother. My sober mother.
" Oh calm down it's not like he's going to die ", she said rolling her eyes. I glared at her.
I'm pissed right now.
I grab me and my brothers jacket, put his on him, and left our so called home.
I walk Max all the way to school and kids his forehead good bye for now and he kisses my check in return. I smiled a sweet smile .
"Now go in there in be a big boy I know you can be Max and remember if you need me my number is in your coat pocket okay?", I say kissing his nose, making him scrunch it up.
" Yes okay I know bye Marie Love you", he says waving, and running off towards a group of little kids
I,wave back and yell," Love you too have fun", and smile walking off around the corner to the high school building.
