It's like people are getting confused on who sent characters are and I really don't blame you. It's probably because I don't update frequently so you tend to forget. So I decided to do a little reminder on who some characters are before I start this chapter.
Laila (Lulu): Malam Audu's ex. The one Bilal took away. She died in a plane crash.

Mustapha: Unknown POV's best friend. He asked him for help to find Haniyya.

Jian: Mustapha's wife. The same lady Haniyya met in the Masjid.

Jameel: Haniyya's other brother who is in Canada for school.

Bello: Malam Audu's Son

Mubarak: Haniyya's boyfriend

Fatima: Unknown POV's sister

Okay I think these are the characters people are having trouble remembering. If there is any other one feel free to let me know.

The commotion in front of the bilal household keeps getting louder by the second, as people gather round to help an unconscious and bleeding Maryam. A disturbed Bilal is holding his bleeding wife throwing instructions at random people to fetch his car keys.

It all happened so fast. One minute he was trying to dress his wound, the next minute Malam Abudu is running into his room informing him on what just happened.

Apparently, a very drunk Hashim was trying to make a turn to enter the house when he lost control and hit his confused mother. Hashim, who was still I'm shock couldn't do anything and instead ran away from the scene before his father got there.
