The day dragged on and on, though when the final bell rang, Ava was the first to leave her class. She had to find the male from earlier, she had too many questions to hold in. After going to her locker, and putting her books away, Daniel approached her. The male leaned against the locker beside her own, waving a hand gently in the air. "Hey, Ava." He spoke, an amused look on his face. "Is something wrong?" He asked, his amused expression fading, turning into a genuine look of concern. Ava cleared her throat, responding to him. "I'm perfect." Daniel only laughed, staring at the ground as he did so. When he raised his gaze to face her again, he spoke, this time a bit more comical. "I can read you like a book. Seriously, are you alright?"

Ava turned her head behind her at the perfect time, spotting the fire mage as he approached. She then turned back to Daniel, his face now filling with confusion. "Ehh..?" He mumbled, trying to put his own puzzle together, though he had no idea what was really going on. "Just a stressful day. I'll talk to you later, alright?" She responded, a bit rushed. Daniel only nodded, his brows furrowing into a more worried look that before. He soon turned away, walking off, and down the hall. As soon as he was out of sight, Ava turned to locate the male once more. A large amused smirk was on his face as he approached her, opening his locker. After throwing his belongings inside, he shit it, facing her. "Well, I know for a fact you hurt his feelings. Anyway, I also know you have a lot of questions on you mind. I'll walk you home so you can ask them. I'll answer as many as I can." Ava nodded in agreement, following him as he exited the building.

Once off the school block, Ava began to ask him what she had been wanting to the entire day. "So, why haven't I been informed that there are others like us? Wait.. are there more? What all elements are there? Which do you find the strongest?" The female rambled on, new questions popping into her mind faster than she could ask them. The male didn't seem to phased by her non stop questions, in fact, he kind of just answered them in the order she asked.

"You probably just haven't had anyone to inform you about them, it's not too big of a deal, everyone comes to terms with it eventually, some later than others in your case. All elements that you can think of really, some can counter more than one. The strongest known mage is the Archmage. He has mastered all elements, and keeps the order of our existence in control." The male finished, answering all of her questions in a simple sentence.

Ava was taken back by his simple response, and moved her gaze to the ground. "Right.." She then sighed, now lifting her head to realize she was close to her home. She paused at the entrance, looking back to him.

The male only nodded in her direction, now looking away. "Well, here you Are. I'm gonna find a place to crash, but I'll see you at school tomorrow morning." The male waved, now walking off. Ava blinked for a moment, her eyelashes fluttering. She then caught his wrist, clenching her jaw. "If you don't have a place to stay, at least allow me to provide a place to stay, even just for one night."

The male looked a bit shocked, now being pulled after her, into her house. When the door had closed, she looked toward him. "My parents should be gone for a while, which means we can leave tomorrow without them assuming anything out of context." The male barely had time to respond, Ava seeming to rush the entire event.

She motioned for him to follow her upstairs, knowing that he would have to stay in her room for her parents not to find out. If her dad were to realize..

When she reached the door to her room, she looked back to him. Opening the door, the male followed her in, shutting the door behind them.
