{ Here it is.~ }
Ava awoke from her empty sleep. She looked over, attempting to find what awoke her. The sound of chimes only reminded her of her alarm. Reaching a lazy hand under her pillow, she felt the cool touch of her sheets against her finger tips. As if she wasn't already used to it. She pulled her phone from underneath her head rest, the charging cable falling from it's socket. She sighed, bringing her phone to the front of her face. She muted her alarm, now setting her phone on her bed stand. With a slight groan, she moved from her bed. She was immediately blinded by the sun, her window opened completely. "Mother.." She grumbled, moving to her mirror. She slipped a pair of black leggings, and a light sweater over her form. Soon after, she grabbed a gray beanie, and a heavy coat.
She walked from her room, and to the bathroom. Her hair was in silver spirals, curls flowing all the way own to her hip bones. Her hair was naturally curly, and silver. She told other people she dyed it, though that wasn't the case at all. She had always had this hair, and she could never get rid of it. Ava brushed through her hair, now walking to her kitchen. She spotted her foster parent's car leaving the drive way. "They're making me ride the bus again, aren't they?" She mumbled. Turning her bright gray eyes forward, she caught her cat, Lila, walking across the coffee table. The cat was a light gray color, it's deep green eyes staring back at her.
Ava only sighed, opening the door before walking out. As she exited, she moved her jacket over her shoulders. He mother always told her to hide her ability as much as possible, meaning she wasn't able to show she was immune to the harsh bite of the cold weather. Ava then looked to the ground, small trails of frost moving from where she stood. She took a deep breath, knowing she couldn't let it show at the bust stop. She began to walk, the wind around her slowing, as if making way for her to walk.She didn't hesitate, now reaching the bus stop. She was lucky her house had a high distance from her stop, it helped hide her ability. She waited at the stop, staring toward the ground the entire wait. Soon enough, she heard the sound of the bus roaring over the hill, now stopping in front of the group of kids. She waited for everyone else to board, not wanting to interrupt. After the group boarded, they took their usual seats. Ava was able to make friends, she just didn't see much of a point to getting close to them, considering she had found a new foster family by the limit of four months. She had been here for three, and even so, she had a feeling it was to come to an end.
She looked to her left, a new face catching her eye. The male in the seat beside her wore only a T-shirt and jeans, not dressed for the winter weather at all. There was at least four inches on the ground, yet he was dressed in such a way?
The bus quivered, driving over a slight bump in the road. This bump caused everyone to shift, though the boy awoke from his slumber, his amber eyes locking against her ice cold orbs, as if he knew she was there. The male then lifted a hand forward, a red light illuminating his palm. Soon enough, a small ball flames ignited in the aura of red, the male soon gripping his hand into a fist, sending a wink in her direction. He then crossed his arms, leaning against the window to sleep once more.
Ava's heart stopped, her eyes widening as she watched in wonder. Someone else was like her, just with a different ability. This was her chance to answer all of the questions she had to hold back her whole life. But.. how did he know she was like him..?
