An abrupt stop caused the female to run from her thoughts, realizing that they had arrived at the school. Ava gathered herself, now standing along with the others on the bus. The boy she had observed earlier awoke from his slumber, soon slipping into the aisle. Ava followed behind him, a strange feeling rising into her stomach. Usually you would expect a girl to have butterflies, or even a blush. It wasn't like that at all. Knowing he was like her made questions look in her mind, a heavy feeling of paranoia causing her heart to race, and her chest to ache.

After the students got off of he bus, Ava quickened her pace, passing the male in a hurry. Before she could get far, she could feel him approaching, his voice in a low whisper.

"Careful frostbite. People
Don't like magic anymore, we have to watch out for ourselves." With that he fell silent, his voice still lingering in her mind. Her anxiety kicked in, thoughts of all kinds running through her mind. She turned her head slightly, not wanting to make a scene.

"How do you know about me?" She asked, knowing for a fact that she had not revealed her abilities to anyone. She knew for damn sure her parents didn't say anything..

As she continued walking, she heard his response. "First of all, you lack control." The two had moved into the building by now. "Otherwise you would have sensed that I can wield fire magic. There are others like us, but you will learn more when we can speak without others listening." It turned out that The males locker was beside her own, the two gathering their books.

"I don't lack control." She shot the male a cold look, a slight chilled breeze moving over the two, only complimenting the males point. Ava averted her gaze from him, shutting her locker. "How come I have lived my life blind from this, all until now?" She turned to face him, holding her necessary books to her chest. She raised a brow, waiting.

As he finished gathering his own belongings, he shut the locker. "We have these lame classes to get through first, but you will get your answers soon enough." As soon as he finished talking, he turned away. As if he ran the school himself, he walked off, disappearing in the crowd of people. Ava only sighed, turning her back to go to her own class. Before she could get far, a familiar male stopped her. "Hey, Ava!"

Her eyes trailed upward, meeting with the taller males eyes. "Hey, Daniel." She offered a gentle smile. Daniel had always greeted Ava when she arrived, and had always asked how she slept and how her morning was. He ended up getting her number, though she wasn't sure how. He said it was because he was in the student council, and he had contact with her parents. It made sense enough for her, at least.

Ava's ice cold eyes met with Daniels. He had the most unique color, a gorgeous light green. His hair was dark brown, parted to the side. His bangs fell against his forehead, complimenting his fair skin. "How did you sleep?" He asked, though she expected it. "Fairly well, thank you. How did you sleep?"

Daniel nodded, pleased with her response. "Amazing, I even got spaghetti last night for supper~" he finished with a light chuckle. Ava took this time to bring his attire to her attention. The male always dressed like a model, but not a super famous one. More like a photographer who's career resides on Instagram. It was quite ironic too, considering he was a photographer. He wore gray skinny jeans and a white sweater type shirt. His charming smile finished the look for her, realizing he had finished speaking.

"Ahh, yeah. I should get to class. I'll talk to you later, alright?" She finished, earning a smile and a nod from the male as the two went their separate ways. Following immediately after was the surge of thoughts from earlier, all leading to the male she had encountered. She hadn't seen him before in her life, though she had a feeling he was sent here for her.

The female shook her head, remembering how arrogant and self centered he was. "No way. A jerk like that shouldn't have been sent for me."

And with that, she entered her English class.
