13. Meltdown, Turn Up, Pass Out

"Calm down love" I heard August say through the phone as I cried not believing what was happening.

"I can't! H-how can I when my dress doesn't fiiiiit Auuuug. Our wedding is tomorrow and they're saying this is a week worth of alterations. I don't have a week. Baaaabe I'm so mad right now. Like what the entire fuck they've had a week since the last time I tried on the damn dress  to finish and they're not done. I- I don't know wh-what to do babe" I cried and sat down on the end of my bed putting my head in my hands feeling Dom and Ejay rub my back.

"Lemme speak to the lil lady in charge baybeh and please stop crying ma." He spoke calmly and I nodded still sniffling.

"Here, he wants to talk to you." I held the phone out to Carol the head seamstress. She took the phone and put it to her ear. And all I heard was.

"Hello.... yes.... We're so sorry, me especially...sir....um we can't.... Um I don't think that's possible..." then her eyes got real big, I knew then he was cursing and going off "y-yes sir....I-I'll get on it right now....we're going to make it happen... I promise...no problems.... no exra charge....y-yes sir...so sorry again" she finished then handed the phone back got my dress and rushed off.

"Baybeh" he called out for me "yes?" I questioned feeling my head start to pound. Great.

"Please calm down, everything is fine and handled so don't worry. Stop crying please phat. Everything's going to be perfect and your man's goin to make sho of that. You hea' me?" He said trying to make me feel better and it helped a little

"Yeah" I sighed hoping he was right really feeling down right now.

"Aight... now getcho sexy self here so we can run through this rehearsal and then turn the fuck up tonight. This yo last free night then you all mine for the rest of yo life" He said making me laugh and so did he

"Yes sir" I smiled standing up and grabbing my Louis and he chucked "That's what I like to here" He said and I knew he was smiling cheesy.

"Yeah yeah, I'm on my way. Love you" I said leaving out with Ejay and Dom behind me.

"Luh you too phat. See you when you get hea" He said before we both hung up.

We all got in my truck and headed to the venue where the rehearsal and the wedding were taking place.

"Bitch whatever August said to the bitch it lit fire under her ass cuz she flew up out of there with that dress." I heard Ejay tell Dom and they started laughing and I couldn't help but smile because I knew my man and he didn't play especially when it came to people he loves and cares for.

"All I know is my best friend dress better be ready in the morning" Dom said and I shook my head "Sho better." I said biting my lip and getting quiet again.  

We got to the venue and I almost cried seeing how well decorated it was. It was everything I wanted and more and they weren't even finished.

"Alright the bride's here lets get started everyone" my wedding planner David called out and every turned to look at me.

"Hi" I waved at all of the staff and the few ppl in my bridal party.

They got started and I stood in the back watching wondering where August was.

I felt hands on my hips and slowly snake around my waist locking together in front of me. I knew who it was. Then I got a whiff of his cologne and smiled "Hey baby" I smiled as he put his face in my neck and kissed it.
