Persephone is happy. For the first time in what feels like forever. She continues to rush to class every day, in the hopes of seeing Amy. She's started to feel better since Sugar, and she's getting better every day.

Amy knows it now. She can't deny it. She's in love with Persephone. She wants to ask her out, but she doesn't know if her love is reciprocated. She's looking at Persephone every chance she can get, and she loves it. If what she sees is right, Persephone might also look at her that way. She can't be sure though. She herself looks at Persephone like she's the brightest thing in the room.

Persephone and Amy have been spending more time together since they met. It only makes sense, their apartments are relatively close together and they come from the same class, so why not walk home together? And why not walk closer? Despite spring being on its way, it's still freezing outside. And the holding hands? Neither mentioned it, it was only logical to keep both of their hands warm.

Persephone tells herself this every day as they walk home. Sometimes, Amy would stay over in her apartment on the couch, because who wants to walk home in this weather? It's not like... No, that could never happen. Not after Sugar. Right?

Amy is cute. Persephone notices it. She's short, and a rebel, the complete opposite of herself. She doesn't know why she's so... Fascinated with this girl.

"Somethin' on your mind, P?" Amy says, looking up at Persephone as they're on their way to Persephone's apartment after class. P. That nickname is adorable, according to the recipient. That, along with Pierogi, is her favorite nickname.

"Oh, nothing, just thinking..." Persephone mumbles, a slight blush on her face.

"Well, I have been too. Uhh, I've never actually done this before, so I don't blame you if you hate me..." Amy looks at her shoes, hesitant.

"What is it, Amy? Please tell me, I could never hate you. Aren't we best friends?"

"Yeah, so..." Amy stops and grabs Pearl's other hand and faces her.

"Would this make it better?" Persephone kneels down and makes herself face-to-face with Amy.

"Umm... D'youwannagooutwithme?" Amy mumbles.

"What? You know I can't hear you when you mumble." Persephone says, and gently places her hand on Amy's chin, tilting it upward. She then purses her lips, pouting. "Now. Say again."

Amy decides not to speak, and instead pulls Persephone's face into a kiss. She leans into it, putting her hands on the back of her head.

Persephone is taken aback by this, but decides that enough is enough. Her old girlfriend is long gone, and she needs to get over her. She tilts her face to the right, and finishes the kiss with Amy.
