Chapter 5

Your Pov:

"(L/n)-chan? What are you doing here?" asked Haruna with a slightly confused face.

"U-uh..."

I froze trying thinking of an excuse I know the one I used on Ukai wouldn't work on Haruna either. Luckily Ukai saw me freeze, and jumped in.

"She's interested in joining the volleyball club." He quickly said.

"She is!?" Haruna asked excitedly.

'I am?' I inwardly groan at the thought, sports meant talking to more people.

"She is, and she came to me to talk about it since I am the coach after all, but ended up falling on the way, so she's staying here." Ukai concluded. His story since like a load of hogwash, but Haruna seemed to buy it.

Ukai and I let a relieved sigh, but that was short lived when Haruna asked why I was staying rather than going home. Ukai seemed like the one to panic now, I saved him this time.

"My parents are on a business trip somewhere, so he wanted me to stay to make sure I don't have a concussion." I lied.

Haruna seemed to completely buy the story now, so we went up to her room, but not before I thanked Ukai once again to which he said it was no problem. As we were walking up the stairs Ukai said:

"Don't forget we wake up earlier for practice." We simply nodded, continuing our adventure to upstairs.

Once we were up there Haruna gave me some clothes to sleep in which I thanked her, and asked were the bathroom was. Crawling into her bed after I changed since they didn't have a futon, we fell asleep.

"Good night (L/n)-chan" she whispered softly.

"Good night Haruna" I replied with a small smile. When was the last time someone told you goodnight?

 Death Note: Okei (you see what I did there XD) I said I would put Tsukki in this chapter, but I felt like writing a filler sorry it's short >_<, but have no fear! For I have already finished the next chapter, and will be posting shortly after this :3. I hope your enjoying this, feedback is appreciated ;3.
