Chapter 17

Author's Pov:

"*whisper whisper, yell shush*"

'Uggghh who's talking?' you thought.

Cracking an eye open you noticed Tsukishima wasn't beside you anymore, and you were covered with a dinosaur patterned blanket. Slowly getting up you made my way towards the kitchen. Once you made it to the kitchen you leaned against the door frame.

And saw no other than the volleyball team crammed into the kitchen. NishinOYA was on top of the counter along with Tanaka, Daichi and Sugawara were sitting in chairs (Like good parents) And the rest were just standing while Tsukishima was scolding them by whisper yelling.

Deciding you had enough of just standing there you proceeded to tiptoe your way behind Tsukishima.

'Deja vu...' You thought.

"Kei, what are they doing here?" You asked in a still tired voice, hugging Tsukishima from behind. He jolts from surprise probably not expecting you to be up yet.

"Tsu-ki-shi-ma~~ What is (L/n)-chan doing here?" chorused Tanaka and Nishinoya. Not even letting the poor boy get a word out the two started bombarding him with various questions.

"Yeah! What is she doing here?"

"Is this why you didn't come to practice?"

"Are you two dating?"

"*le gasp* Don't tell me you two did it."

Having enough of their stupidity Tsukishima finally intervened.

"Because she can be, Yes, Yes, and N-O!"

They almost calmed down until they noticed something else....you were in his clothes. Though before they could ask Daichi stopped them with his fatherly intimidation.

"Y-Yeah we weren't doing anything inappropriate." 'How many times is someone going to assume that?' You thought.

"So Tsukishima where are you parents then?" chimed Kageyama.

"My dad and mom are on a business trip if the King must know." Kageyama almost blew his top (whAT Am I wriTiNG??) but Hinata stopped him before he could possibly punch Tsukishima.

"Well now that, that's settled who wants dinner?" You asked trying to divert the boys' attention elsewhere.

"I'll help" Sugawara suddenly chimed, then proceeded to shove the rest of the boys including Daichi out into the livingroom. "I expect you all to behave." He said in a threatening tone to which the others nodded their head rapidly.

Tsukishima's Pov:

"So, Tsukishima when did you and (L/n)-chan get together?" asked Hinata. I sighed knowing this was going to happen. I'm not really in the mood to answer their questions about (Y/n) and I, it's none of their business anyways, but knowing they weren't likely going to stop I might as well humor them.

"Officially today." I responded and once I did the questions kept coming.

'Please end my suffering.'

Finally (Y/n) and Sugawara came out with the food, I was this close to leaving my own house. We all ate and joked around, I teased Kageyama, (Y/n) reprimanded me for it. All in all it was an okay evening I would've liked to spend more alone time with (Y/n) though, but she looked happy so I guess that's enough to keep me here.

After a couple of hours everyone left, and (Y/n) was knocked out on the couch again. I picked her up and carried her to my room as I did I looked back on today. Even though the team was being their usual selves I'm grateful, because it seemed to take her mind off things for a while. (Y/n) can't keep running away from her father, but for now it's okei.

I laid both of us down, and she quickly curled up to me with a smile on her face. She looked happy, I smiled slightly while taking off my glasses and putting them on my nightstand and pulling the cover over us.

'Even though she's not conscious of it her smile is more beautiful than the stars.'

Note de l'auteur: I'm back!! Sorry school has been cutting into my writing time, especially with advanced classes ;;A;; So updating this late might become a regular thing. Also the chapter didn't quite go the way I wanted I personally think the ending part is a lot better than the first half. Anyway I hoped you enjoyed it regardless.
