The next day was a bit weird.

My dad had called me saying that he wanted to meet up with me. I went to my first two classes and left during my third. I made sure to tell Taeil so he wouldn't worry.

Right now I was waiting in his office for him to come. "Okay thank you very much, okay bye." He walked in and hung up his phone. He walked over to his chair and sat down in front of me.

It was quiet for a moment. I could tell he didn't quiet know what to say because of the last time. Me on the other hand, I had nothing else to say.

"So it seems like you've made up your mind." I nodded not really caring yo be here anymore. "Well I have the contracts already drawn and all you need to do is sign them." I nodded and narrowed my eyes at him.

"Is that really all you wanted to talk to me about?" He sighed and ran his hands through his hair. "No, the other thing is your mom is here." I stared at him not believing him.

"Why would she be here? She said she wanted nothing yo do with me or you." He laughed bitterly. "I have no Idea but I don't think she's completely over everything that happened." I laughed at that.

"So she thinks she can cheat and come back and act like it's our fault that she left?" He nodded. "The worst part is she happens to have a step son." I could feel my fists clenching.

"Did she call you?" I ask already knowing the answer. "Yes, she wants to have dinner with us." At that I scoffed. "Why can't that bitch just have dinner with herself?" He rubbed his hands on his face. "I don't know but Taeyong we have to go. If we don't she won't let this die."

I rolled my eyes. "If I have to have dinner with that dumb bitch then I'm bringing Taeil." I thought he would have yelled or said no but instead he just shook his head. "Ok, if Taeil's who you really care about then I need to learn to accept it."

I didn't say anything not believing that he actually was speaking the truth. "I'm gonna bring Mr.Chen then." I raised an eyebrow and he scratched the back of his neck. "We've kind of gotten closer these days." He said coughing slightly.

I laughed at that. "So no more of the hatred and trying to stop my happiness?" I stuck my hand out and he looked at it. Just then a small smile formed on his face. He grabbed my hand and shook it. "Yes no more and Taeyong I know right now you don't believe me, but I'm gonna try to be a better father to you. I'm sorry for treating you and all of your friends like scum. I don't know what came over me. I guess seeing you happy with someone made me a bit envious because at the time I had no one."

I stared at him not knowing what to say. "But, that's not an excuse. From now on I won't be getting in the way." I nodded and stood up. "So when are we having this dinner?" He looked through his notes on his desks. "Tomorrow night." I nodded and made my way to the door. "Oh and dad, I may not forgive you just yet for everything but it wouldn't hurt for you to start showing you care."

He gave me a small smile and nodded. With that I closed the door and made my way to the elevator. I clicked the down button and frowned. "Who the hell is her step son?"
