Ebony ran all the way to the other side of the Malfoy Manor.
Jesus, Ebony thought to herself I really should just start travelling by Floo Powder.
There was no need to knock on Lucius Malfoy's door. He was family.
"Uncle Luci?" Ebony called as she opened the door to his massive library.
"Oak wood?" Lucius called from a stack of books. Oak wood was his nickname for Ebony, because he had always found it secretly hilarious that she had been named after a type of wood.
"M..my father says you need to take me to get a new wand."
Lucius's brow furrowed in concern.
"Why, is there something wrong with it?"
"Well.." Ebony couldn't contain the large grin that was spreading across her face, "I may have been asked to preform the Crucio curse and uh....maybe, accidentally, kind of, spilled pink sparkles all over him..."
Lucius stifled a laugh.
"Oh well...we can't have that...."
"No sir..." Ebony smirked.
"Do you think we can get ice cream first?"
"Oh hell yes."
