Waters P.O.V.
The girl who sat next to me was one who usually asked me once a week about different guys. Her name was Aspen, and she usually asked questions that I did not answer, and then she just asked me their name.
"So, I know you've heard about Bramble and Griffen," she started. "I want to know why they're here" I gave her a blank stare. Everyone knew that, even the most clueless ones! "They're here because there parents are the new English teachers." I said quietly. Aspen thought about this for a moment. I could practically read her mind as she fidgeted. Was it worth it to ask out the sons of our English teachers? Or should she just stick with her boyfriend of the week? After sitting there for a few minutes, her friends called her over, and I had peace and quiet again.
Why'd she ask you about them?" An accusatory voice asked behind me. I turned around, expecting to see the guy who'd just walked behind me. But it was Karma, the new girl. I was confused. How'd she get behind me unnoticed? "I asked you a question."
"I can read body language." I looked down at my almost forgotten lunch and my book, Princess of Glass.
"Really. Well, some secrets are meant to stay buried. You need to stay away from my brothers and me, or there'll be problems." She said and then stalked off, heeding to the calls of Aspen and her friends, most likely going to be asked about her brothers.
I felt sorry for anyone who crossed Karma's path, for they will be met by some serious trouble. She walks with an air of power, and she moves like she expects to be respected. Good luck Lehi.
