Karma's P.O.V
That girl scared me. I didn't know what to think of her, only that if she realized what secrets my family had, I wouldn't be able to save humanity.
I was the unforgivable, unforgettable, undeniable thing that saved humanity last time. Being the only child of an emperor, my mother dying of child birth, and being a girl. The greatest shame of the empire. And then the humans moved to earth from Hakrem,(the planet I was born on) and I was granted immortality by the one who found me, but am now burdened with finding the next thing to save everyone.
"Hey girl, I love your hair. What shade is that?" A girl, Brynn I think, said. "Its natural" I muttered, and walked away to talk to Bramble and Griffen, who saw my expression and ran to me before I killed someone.
"What's wrong, Karma?" Griffen asked.
"We have a problem"
"What is it?" Bramble questioned.
" Do you see that girl over there?" I said as I pointed to the wallflower. "She's a secret reader. If you two use magic once, to do anything, I doubt that she'd miss it. If you blow our cover, that's good bye humanity. So be careful."
They nodded, looking serious. "Will do." They said.
They went back to their female worshippers, and I looked up to see the wallflower, smiling at her book, not worried about a thing.

Later, I found a note in my science textbook that said,
